I have a rough idea for a Rampage soft-focused deck, that forces additional blocking via Lure, Goblin War Drums and supports with Dolmen Gate and Kusari-Gama. Secondary combo is Defense of the Heart alongside Varchild's War-Riders to pull big creatures like Craw Giant and Teeka's Dragon into play.

I have some very loose ideas here, was hoping for some insight to bring this down in size, preferably 70 cards or less. This deck should be either Vintage/Legacy legal at a minimum. I do not have the scratch to pickup Power 9 or Dual Lands so cards that are $100+ are out.

dknight27 and others, please help! Any insights on how to refine this loose pile into something cohesive?

Thank you for your feedback as always dknight27! You are correct, there are better colors for a snow deck. Sticking with Red/Green was a personal choice to build something a little different. For anyone looking to build a similar deck, check out dk's advice above! It's solid! <3

I've dug through my collection and can swap out most of the recommended cards, which I agree are better. Should have this updated soon. Thank you again for your insight! :)

Removed 4x Suntail Hawk and replaced them with the better 4x Rustwing Falcon, which is a direct upgrade.

I did want to pick your brain on 'Faith's Shield', as it's still my go-to over Surge of Salvation. My thought process here is that I'm actively seeking that one drop protection effect to aid in dodging past blockers or excluding unfavorable match ups versus the broader (and typically better) protection from Surge. There are good two drop options but I'm wanting to stick with one drop if I can. Any ideas if there's something better?

Okay, I've dug in and taken TheSwarmer's advice above to heart and made some changes based on what was in my collection and a few things in my budget. In play testing and with real games, the deck more consistently builds board presence.

Why would it be dead or no one at the helm anymore? I haven't really paid much attention to things other than building decks. :D

Has there been stuff going on behind the scenes?

I took a look at some other deck building sites, but they just don't have the look or aesthetic that MTGVault has. This place has been golden for so long.

Same issue for me as of midnight or so last night 3rd. I posted on the forum. Looks like this has happened a couple times this year?
