One Archangel doesn't seem to really do much. Wouldn't it be better to just add two AEtherling?

I wasn't really going for a lifegain deck. Just something that was intimidating and a flyer. I know there isn't much lifegain to get her going but I didn't really try to build the deck around her. I could I guess. What other cards are out there though? Also what about the rest of the deck?
Not sure about Archangel of Thune. I like it but don't know if she really fits in here. Any other input on the deck?
WOW. Guess Mr. Original isn't so original after all.
That is exactly what it is. Your opinion. It also makes you sound ignorant. Control takes skill just as aggro does. You have to know what and when to use certain things. Aggro beats down the opponent and control wears out the opponents resources until they can't do anything against it. No deck is greater than the other and just control seems to beat your decks out doesn't make it a bad deck. Get over yourself.
If you can kick control to the curb why do you feel the need to bash on it so much? It seems like you're just on here talking shit because you hate control for the fact that it beats you out and drags out your games. Sorry buddy but I didn't make the cards or the style. I just play it and I like it. If you want to insult me for it because it makes you feel better then by all means, keep it up. You're just giving my deck more likes and attention.
Tell that to the four people who made top 8 running a deck very similar to this build.
Such an easy style deck? I know a few aggro players that tried to play control and they didn't know what the hell they were doing. I couldn't play aggro or midrange till after playing it awhile I got used to it's style. You can't just make a control deck and know how to play it. I'll admit that when I first started playing the first deck I played was control and I ended up liking it and hardly put it down. I have ran aggro/midrange decks in the past though and didn't do as well cause it wasn't my play style. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it right to bash on it.
Yea you can run both in the deck if you want. I just prefer not too. It's just another win condition for the deck. If it can't win with beat down or AEtherling then you have the option to mill out your opponent. Nothing wrong with an alternate win condition like that.
It really depends. You can use him for his ultimate but really he's more valuable filtering through your deck with his -2. Don't count his ultimate out though, I have used it to take one of my opponents finishers and use it against them.
I did notice that they didn't run Read the Bones and just used Jace, Architect of Thought to filter out their deck. Probably not a bad idea.
Yea I wasn't going to keep it in. I'm liking this set up that I got right here. There really isn't much I could do to change it up. Unless I switch the sideboard up.
I put Glare in the sideboard for my Azorius Control deck. Go check it out.
Really you two? lol
I'm liking this set up a bit better actually.
Yea I got that. Thanks man.
Yea I laughed at that at first but realized it's a 1 drop wall that just laughs at aggro for a few turns.
Wes Blanchard took first off of tcgplayer with a deck more like mine. Ratchet Bomb in the main deck though? Kinda curious as to what he would hit with that. I do have some tweaking to do that is for sure.
Just the way the cards draw sometimes. Sucks he got land screwed. I'm sure he would have had it.
Idk..I like what the card does I just really don't like it's mana cost. If I was going that route I could just run Cyclonic Rift or Dramatic Rescue.
