With Champion of the Parish, I think you should run one more creature for his effect, like Soldier of the Pantheon or a Soul Warden perhaps. By the way, is there a popular Red one-drop deck yet? I might consider making one.

Well, I guess? the only real way around it seems to just be counter spells, so I'm going to have to bite the bullet anyway and throw some in.
It's a possibility, but I do like having mizzium as well. I'll sideboard another Anger for aggro in particular. Good point though, I was pretty much done for against Naya aggro and Mono-black devotion, so I'm still working on good comebacks to work on mono-black specifically.
Ey, the gorgons used to be literally the sexiest women there was, until Athena got mad after a series of events and made them snake people. Dey was teh prime bitchez back in the day.
So, in short, does this work like Delver? It seems that you're controlling the board to grind then to death, but without needing to scry or rearrange for Daxos to work. Also, I'm sure you're trying to keep it at a low price range, but one or two of the cheapest of the Swords (fire and ice, light and shadow, body and mind, war and peace, feast and famine, either feast and famine or body and mind are the cheapest) could help as well, especially with the protection given.
Also, the Tablet was able to jump me from around 10 life to back up to 20 on various occasions, so it's earned it's keep. Turn // Burn is great for decimating literally anything that's a creature, from Desecration Demons to indestructible creatures to even god cards.
Yeah, I learned that Steam Augury can be a pain once your opponents figure out what the hell is going on. Took awhile, but I think people finally caught on to the fact that I need Psychic Spiral. I think I'm actually going to swap some cards for Quicken as well. It's only one mana, and I can technically Epic Experiment on their turn. And it also draws a card to boot.
It will always have a place among the 2013-2014 Standard WUBRG decks, next to Maze's End.
By the way, I did like Thoughtflare from your tempo deck, I've added it.
Thanks for the correction, it seems a bit more appetizing for U/W control now...
While I love throwing in counter spells, this deck sort of dies with them. Close to every play-test I've tried using counter spells has ended badly, but otherwise I would be using spells like Counterflux, Dissolve, and maybe even Syncopate or Dispel. For now though, I think Keranos isn't a bad idea, I'll try him, but sadly counter spells drag it down too far.
I'm trying to limit the number of non-sorcery/instant cards to as low as I can other than Electromancer , but he could work I guess. The only reason I have Tablet in the sideboard is to survive little aggro decks or outlast burn. I'll proxy him sometime.
Thanks! Any suggestions?
It was pretty good, but it flopped against any hardcore creature removal. Supreme Verdict and Mutilate were basically the biggest problem.
Actually, my brother used to use WUBRG slivers with manaweft slivers included, so he used Door to Nothingness for about a month before it rotated out.
Okay, I made what I think is the epitome of izzet strategy, but I think it needs help. Please check out my "Bang or Bust!" if you can.
By the way, Reap Intellect is fairly powerful when combined with Dictate and Whispering Madness (each played on different turns, respectively) and especially Master of the Feast. The deck seems to run fairly smooth.
Perhaps instead of Mistcutter, you could use Savageborn Hydra for the double strike and ability to continue pumping it.
