Welcome! Let me know how testing plays out

Off the bat, I'd say it needs more caravan's. The caravan shaves 4 mana off the cost of the metal giant, and the hedron takes off 6. Together they take the 11 down to 1 mana, so earliest you couls fling this guy is turn 5. Which is meh, and without any other artifacts to sacrifice you'd recur him and be stuck with an 11 casting cost creature. So, your turn one and turn two drops need to be focused on either more mana ramp or more artifacts. Preferably both. Also, no viable way to dig for fling, either through tutor effects or draw, which creates a challenge. Also, since we're counting on reducing the mana cost to play it, I doubt that ugin would fetch a second copy off of the first metalwork colossus. Unfortunately I'm more familiar with modern than with standard m so I can't be much more help here. Modern makes the strat so much easier to employ though.
No. No it is not. ??
So just got done looking up all your card suggestions kailla and wow, my mind is really turning. Thanks! Thats a really solid engine you just handed me, I can't wait to test it out!
I've always wanted to try a fairy deck, they were infamous at one point but I wasn't very active at the time so I missed the boat. Ton's of solid ideas to play around with, I might just end up trying to build em all. Thanks for the tips!
Hmmmm..... iim looking those cards up right now ??
I'd suggest going heavier in on cards like tainted sigal and vizkopa guildmage if your going after the children, but that's because of just how fast hat combo can turn a game. Especially with cards like blood wall.I also consider cards like daring apprentice excellent targets for gift of immortality. Sacrifice to counter a spell then plop him back out.Of course, then one thinks about "rule of law," giving your opponent only one spell a turn..
Totally needs more Anointed Procession. That card's synergy with Endless Ranks and Wayward Servent is too damn fun to watch. And it works great wih colossus.
Also, I can explain my hiatus. First, I switched over to mtgdeckbuilder.net because of it's ability to simulate a tabletop game. Then it got shutdown, and I gave up on magic entirely. But now I'm more or less back into it, largely thanks to a steady job that gives me weekends off so I can both afford to play again and have the time to do so.
I remember mentioning the use of jhoria over eurika, and am glad to see it's still around. I've got two other suggestions that may be of interest.First: Childeren of Korolis, since they help absorb that death wish. Two: Vizkopa Guildmage, because they make the children hilariously painful.
Oh, that works then! I was worried because the "build this deck button" was showing a min of 12$ a pop.
My typical budget is twenty-five dollars. And I usually die a little on the inside if I have to spend it all on just a few cards.
Omg, Lullmage + Anointed Procession...That feels troll AF!I mean, with two of each, I got the infinite loop established!
Sooo... would anyone hate me if I hit a Lullmage Mentor with good ole RoR?
And I just remembered that blue has both hedron crab and "harrow on a stick" aka Dreamscape Artist! That might help keep me in u/w and serves as a great excuse to put that two-card combo into a deck. I loved that two-card combo.
I think it actually goes in sequence, so it be one life for the first Shamen, then 2, then 3, 4, 5, 6 for a total of 21. Either way is a win, but now I'm thinking of creating several different RoR themed decks, they all sound like sooo much fun!
Isn't Urzatron typically expensive? Really, my only qualm is dropping alot of money into a deck.
Hey... what if i went green/blue and all in on bio visionary, the artifact clone, AND that new enchantment that says I win the game if I control 8 or more of an artifact?
But wurmcoil sounds painful to my wallet.. ??
This is getting fun, so many great ways of playing off this core concept! Thanks for all the ideas!
