Blur -2, striking -1, hivelord -1. Two of each of those will give some wiggle room if they kill one off. Any other ideas would push the deck way out of budget range.

Homing sliver....nuff said.
Gemhide/manaweft is the core of most 5 color sliver decks, if someone is constantly taking them out, switch to chromatic lantern or journeyer's kite. They may be slower, but might catch your opponent off guard.
Homing sliver for sliver cycling and cavern of souls for a land idea.
If sidewinder's effect doesn't stack, I would drop him for plated. Homing sliver is a must. Drop some of the effect slivers for a set of four. Lifelink and doublestrike sliver would be cool as well. I will be adding distant melody to mine today! Fantastic idea! Cavern of souls for a land idea.
If you had to add one thing. Homing sliver will make the deck. I run 4. The ability to search for the perfect counter for 3 generic is too good to pass up, especially in a 5 color.
Needs homing sliver. Truly underappreciated card.
I like the description i wish more people would build decks this way. The deck is a little light on burn for my taste. Lightning bolt, incinerate/searing spear are must haves. Dragon egg is bad. Dragon hatchling and slumbering dragon are both really good. 4 of each wouldn't hurt the concept, they have to sleep and reproduce... Dragon speaker is the only other I can think of that you should have 4 of creature wise. The artifacts are a little off for me too. 3 dragon's claw effects are amazing. 4 ruby medallions mixed with 4 dragon speakers and you wont have a problem with pushing out the big dragons. Enchants are not nessicary, dragons are beastly all by themselves. Seething song and geosurge are not nessicary with all the mana reductions. After all that a draw effect is nice, I love browbeat. This is just my opinion, I know some of it goes against your concept but I hoped the few exceptions would allow for the deck to run.
Could use a moonsilver spear or two.
I have a devour deck, http://www.mtgvault.com/zeddreth/decks/devour/ check it out for some ideas. I use as many free token producers as I can to build up for massive devours. Instant sac army to move all power to the one that got through. Generally nasty stuff. Its a little slow but a blast to play. It can be made to budget, but mycolyth is a must for any devour.
I don't think frogtosser is really necessary. Personally I would swap him for invisible stalker. Cypher abilities on invisible stalker are incredibly over powered.
That would be cool, but the other double i use is Saproling Symbiosis. Originally I found life and limb to make a use of the mono green legendary treefolk that produce Saproling tokens. Mix that with timber protector and you have an indestructible army. Last piece, Spidersilk armor. Its slow, but fun to play.
Cool deck. I run saproling tokens in mine. Life and Limb + Dungrove Elder(or any */* treefolk) + Fungal Sprouting = */* double and army of chumps.
Yeah, if you are trying to keep it under $20 they are a little pricey. I just don't like might sliver. He costs too much mana to play for my taste.
Coalition Victory maybe? Drop might sliver and a winged sliver to add a full set of gem hide and mana weft. You will need them.
That's cool, I think I may make a tron deck now. I enjoy running different art, my blue deck has alt art for every card that has one in it. Not smart if you are running it in a tournament, but fun for casual.
That dark ritual is cool but I like the urza and ice age ones more personally.
There are 4 different artworks for each of the lands?
If you run ghost quarter you can force the free trap on them. Haunting echoes and crypt incursion are both worth looking into. Haunting echoes if your opponent is more spell based and crypt incursion for massive heals you will need vs the more agro creature decks. I love mind funeral to death, but I would run breaking//entering over it. Breaking is 8 cards for U/B, mind funeral is potentially a deck or 4 cards for 3. I run both of them but if I had to choose I would take the consistency of breaking. I took the deck I posted earlier down. It was so modified from the original version that the name didn't fit anymore. I'll shoot you the link when I repost it.
That is so many sets! I didn't know they had that many printing, but then I don't run tron in anything.
