seems a lot of lists don't, they just use distortion strike and apostles blessing and blighted agent. whats your suggestion for card changes?

rift bolts are around $1. village messenger is actually solid in my playtesting, the flip one. I really want to try bomat courier, it can refill your hand!

Spreading seas messes up your opponents mana, don't take them out

the card choke stops islands from untapping, and boil says destroy all islnads

just use them as spreading seas 5+?

I just know from a buddy playing it for a few months now, I haven't actually ran it myself. He runs unified wills as his counterspells, and no tec edge. he has an oboro and a minamo, mainly to deal with chokes and boils

cut the jace and the thassa, go up on the harbinger and rejeerey. reejerey has been one of the best cards in merfolk vs creature decks

smother and bile blight end up being the forgotten black kill spells. if you really want to dig deep you could play dash hopes!

I really love the list. its budget, but its also really high impact per card. A+! I think smother may be better than doomblade if you plan on playing this in a meta where deaths shadows are running around
