I think you could drop icon of ancestry and bonus monument, prolly drop butcher as well

Hey Q My suggestions for cuts are as follows .... Blood Baron of vizkopabloodline necromancerforerunner of the legion - most of your creatures are interchangeable, getting a specific one has limited value I thinkrakish heirblood tributeSorin, Imperious BloodlordSorin, Lord of innistradSorin Markov - Expensivesword of the animist - doesnt do enoughstensia masquerade - not impactuflBlood Crazed PaladinDark Imposter - Expensive removal though not a bad cardKnight of the ebon legion - Not 100% sure what you get out of him in your list other than his low cost.Vampire hexmage - situational but really good in those situtations - I'd keep it if you can take something else out.Mavren Fein - does what edgar does, but has to be on bettlefield and can only make 1 per turn IF you have a safe attackNew blood - Good card but it's not something your deck does alot of. For the same effect I prefer captivating vampire. You also want to keep a critical mass of vampire creatures. You have 13 Direct targeted removal in sorceries/instants - Cut 5 - 6 of them.Add vandalblast. You have 2 board wipes, that's probably the correct number, you could go up if you wanted, but don't drop below about 35 vampire creatures spells.Ashnod's altar may not do enough for your gameplan - hard to judge - also depends on how deep the aristocrat hole you want.Darksteel ingot - 3 mana rock that only produces 1, may not be impactful enough.Lightning greaves and swiftfoot boots - you may not need very much as Eddy does not have to be on the battlefield to really do what he's good at.Well of lost dreams may not provide enough benefit - depends on how much actual lifegain you end up with.Look at going up to 37 total lands
no need to spash blue for unblockable when you can gain protection from, but i'd use Boros Charm instead of Assault Strobe, still in your colors and makes it instant so you can wait to dump life/give double strike until after they've declined to block your 1/1 with their mana nerd, or the 1/1 myr they're gonna start replicating.
i find myself wondering if it's worth adding the blue to get absolutely nothing except making your creatures unblockable. well, that and war monk. also, it's upwards of the curve you have here but the original Rhox is awesome if you're trying to get unblocked damage, with regenerate as an upside.
Could be fun. Consider Adaptive Automaton.
i'd actually say you're too high on mana, for 7 4drops and 4 3drops and nothing else over 2. also, you may have some trouble with so many 2 damage burn spells (blood, shock, and jet). having to go 2 for 1 to kill a threat is hard on a burn deck ('cept for searing blood, nothing bad about 6 to the face and a dead creature). maybe a couple/three Mizzium Mortars, or a couple Volcanic Geysers would help you out in place of a couple shocks or a magma jet.I've got a boros burn up now, have a look if you want. Lots of the same stuff. http://www.mtgvault.com/xeno411/decks/boros-burn/
Thats true, but for combos i tend to gear for reliability instead of optimum potential. Just some options for a different style of play, so you dont sit with no other zombie on the board, or sit with no sac-engine. Either way i still like it, good job.
So does altar, minus the downside. with extra transmutes in the deck to ensure you can get altar, i dont see the need for an extra that causes you to lose life.
some nice stuff. have a look at my merfolk deck for a couple other thoughts if you like.http://www.mtgvault.com/xeno411/decks/fishpeeplz/i'd encourage you to look at the merrow commerce and the acquitect's will (also ponder, which was mentioned above)
i like it. I'm not really really a fan of dark prophecy, for the above mentioned reasons, or carnival because with your other available options i feel like it's unnecessary self-damage. i would replace them with another 2 more Dimir Machinations for the transmute cost) and a couple of Corpse Blockade (which is a zombie to work with Gravecrawler, another sacrifice engine, and can be dug out with transmute from Machinations if it's needed.)
I'd recommend Grey Merchant. He is a 5drop, outside of your 3drop cap, but he's common and imo should be a solid fixture in any current mono-black deck. easily pulls you a 4-life swing on your opponent and gets you a 2/4.
netdeck central is all well and good, but with some dual lands this deck doesnt need more than 20 mana. did 10 sample hands, 8 samples could empty the hand by turn 5. that's a statistically small sample, but i'm not trying to get a grade just show that a dirt-cheap aggro deck doesnt need more than 2 in its opening hand, and more than 3 is just as bad with creatures this small
Disagree. Maybe 19-20 total, and i'd run slightly white heavy. this deck is so cheap mana would kill it. he has enough scry to get what he needs.
my version of this runs Psychic Venom and Icy Manipulator. It's very fun. Enjoy.
Mistveil Plains would be better served as being a basic plains. Clliftop retreat would be nice to help solve some mana problems and does not deal damage to you every time you want to cast.Peacekeeper is great, but you will be tying up your mana for his upkeep and you can not protect him, particularly as he is your only creature, any and all removal will be targeted at him every time.Insetad of lava spike, i might run Thunderbolt instead, 4 damage to a flyer or 3 to a player at instant speed so you can bind it to isochron.
i recommend thatcher revolt over the pyreheart wolf, they work GREAT with hellrider. and maybe in place of a couple of lightning maulers use some fervent cathars?
consider removing battle mastery, double cleave, and assault strobe. enough of your creatures have first/double strike naturally, that'd be almost wasted. Possibly the same for Boros Guildmage. maybe add in something like fencing ace, where you can accelerate your deck, or more things like avenging arrow or dynacharge.
faith's shield is a good way to protect your creatures as an alternative to ranger's guile. gives it pro-whatever color, meaning you can save it from whatever the spell is, OR make it pro-whatever deck you're playing and make your champ unblockable (assuming you dont have a high enough lambholdt)
I dont see 1 intrepid hero being reliable enough to include, and another rancor ups your chance of having a BIG/BIG trampling Champion to punch someone with.
