I actually use mindstones in my modern angel deck and it works well. this one not so much, but thats what giada, sol ring and mana vault are for. I wanted to maximize threat density (ie creatures ) to the max in this build.

i was thinking of the mentor card. thalia lieutenant is def a consideration.

working on it but here it goes.

1. Mininmum amount is 1/3 of deck or 20 creatures Permanents
2. As long as it has goblin in the type you can have goblin warrios, angel horrors, etc etc.
3. The subtype (IE: angel) and anything with angel in it as in #2.
4. if there is a side board - you must always allow for 20 creatures to be in the main deck at all times.

Yeah ive got to get organized. i like that concept. years ago id play 100 card regular decks which were a combination of ideas like that.

i love my old cards and i never played competitive just kitchen table with those cards. so many memories of other kids playing with us. my favorite were the team games. speaking of which maybe i can tell you a team format ive tried working on a few years back that turned out great. it has variations but maybe you can help me with your knowledge and experience into making it complete? do you play on cockatrice?

interesting. I've known about tribal but wanted to use some older cards in this. I've got a play style format to test too. Its called secret alliance and I developed it years back in our play group.

Thanks bud! I will check them out. I have a few more casual decks i own but havent uploaded. I have a lout of unlimited and revised cards. The prices are skyrocketing. Cards I bought for a few bucks are several hundered dollars now!

yeah i might try upping it, this is what i used to play as a kid so i figured id recapture my childhood here.

Dont worry ive played this on cockatrice and its fun. Not a tier 1 deck or 2 but fun nonetheless. Its a pure angel deck meaning i only use angel creatures. Competitive? no. Fun Yes. If i were playing for money id do something completely different.

I dont like giving them land even though in legacy sometimes you get those decks with no basics. I like vindicate because i can vindicate on turn two. I do have trouble with tokens but thats why i have zealous persecustions. Maybe I can cut one and put in a maelstrom.
