5 mana combo? seems legit I guess
Yeah at first I was like "meh" then... so many tokens mother of god. Hero's downfall kills all creatures and planeswalkers, at the moment there are a good amount of black creatures
Blood Baron meng, here's my deck if you want some input:http://www.mtgvault.com/umbric/decks/esper-justice-league-3/Needs another elspeth and less diabolic tutor and one more land
Also mainboard Ashiok, nothing feels better than exiling and taking a Voice of Resurgence
I would take out Jace, memory adept for Jace architect of thought easier to cast, good against aggro, and better card draw. I would take out doom blade for Hero's downfall and add elspeth, I promise you, she IS THE MOST game changing card in standard
Render silent is much harder to cast in a tri-colored deck, and yes, Esper generally runs 4 counter spells
Detention sphere, easy
This is a lot like the deck I played against last night, it was a very intense match up, everyone who was watching said that they could "feel" how hard the match up was my Esper Superfriends control vs his Dega Control. This is a great deck. I do however recommend taking out rakdos keyrune, underworld connections out for another elsepth and Chandra and an Anger the gods for Rakdos's Return, add more shocklands and temple of triumph
No planeswalkers?
Slaughter games sideboard against Grixis and Esper control?
Slaughter Games is incredible in sideboard or possibly mainboard. I also recommend Temple of Triumph and Chandra pyromaster Oh and elspeth!
What's been winning a lot is Red burn, I suggest skull crack and Lighting strike and Chandra's Phoenix
Boros reckoner and Stormbreath dragon needs to be a thing in this deck
Oh wait now I see you're right... hang on
Trainng grounds does, it makes it cost nothing to untap Myrs
good call, what about card draw, read the bones?
training grounds?
Not in standard
Good call, main boarding
