Well, you can tap the creature for mana and then use it for pod. So the deck remains quick.

I still like the idea however it has the same faults as before. A mono black rush/ rdw deck would just finish it before you are able to polymorph, rite or even cast a golem. If you splash green you could add overgrown battlement to help you cast rites with kicker sooner. Or ascetism (it is expensive so has the same problem).

I would copy lord of the unreal with phantasmal image first. So you get a hexproof illusion lord.

some cards like Sutured Ghoul you should take out. Try to get your deck more focused.

Focus on 4-6 cards that cost over 5 mana and play cards like silence to hinder the enemy.

You could give one golem protection, and all gain it then. Or you could unsummon.

Redirect does the same thing as Spellskite. Stave off or the blessing work. Vines of vastwood is even better in this deck. However the manacurve will be a big problem against RDW or any Aggro deck. And without good removal you will get a lot of problems on the board. Another problem is that the Cryptoplasm (nice combo :)) only triggers after a turn. Add some Memnite, Ornithopter etc. and some one or two drops to stop your opponent early game. BoP has just been reprinted so you can use it for mana. Also plenty of green walls that add green mana. You can have all your mana tapped and still play Vines that way.
