Happy New Year to you too :)

Are you saying you don't know how a storm deck works or it is because of your opponent playing counter spells that increase your storm count that makes it work?
What about storm?
+1 because that last statement.
That's true.
Unfortunately with ghost quarter your opponent has the option of choosing to search, and due to the fact that you need ob Nixilis on the field for the damage to come through, your opponent will most likely not search. It might be good land destruction to interrupt your opponent's turn four but that's all it could do sorry. Nice try though so keep it up!
Best of luck though!
I don't think I'm the right person to ask (maybe try Umooncupa, not sure if its spelled that way), but I would think it would be too slow due to the fact that you can't get Ob Nixilis out until turn four (turn four is where you want to finish the game, or in other words, others will win by turn four and if your deck can't keep up with this speed your deck will fail until it is a control deck), and even if you could get Ob Nixilis out turn four then your opponent gets to search for whatever cards he/she wants. I also tried to make a deck around Maralen with the same problem of being too slow.
Take back what I said as I didn't see rogue's passage my bad.
The combo is perfect but the after it resolves you can only win if your opponent has nothing to block your creature with. Maybe a kill card would work better. Still nice props as I also created a landfall combo like this but I can't find the win condition for it (the combo isn't the same).
I can't believe more people don't know about this. Nice deck.
As a modern player I find this very helpful. Thanks.
Thanks I'll look into raise dead. Also, your really good at your job.
Nice concept but seems inconsistent.
Problem with those combos is that your opponent can destroy scepter on your turn.
Thanks. I'll see what I can do.
Can somebody explain where the infinite combo is and how it works?
Ahaha, don't worry many people misinterpret/misread it at first.
Rain of gore is worded so that the only time an opponent would lose life from gaining life is when they would do something to gain life (although it might work with lifelink) and idyllic tutor make it consistent enough. Still a good idea if rain worked.
Your Welcome.
