You sir, have a very good point there..... I am defeated lol.

Fair enough, but I still wouldn't want to do that..... Oh well, to each man his own.
Did I read that right? Everything is 1 mana? That could be a very quick deck to play against.
Mmmmm Black Control. Nothing quite so nasty. Well, maybe Blue control, but lets not argue about that. Made this for the new M12 stuff coming out, take a looksie. http://www.mtgvault.com/EditDeck.aspx?DeckID=205766
Mmmmmm, mono-black. For when you just can't be enough of a bastard. Really nice mono-black deck. I would put that together if it wasn't for Innistrad and M12 soon.
You're basically giving your opponent 4 or 5 free turns to do as he likes at the least. You need some ramp and some smaller creatures to bridge the gap.
Reduce down to 60 cards and remove cards that you don't really need and make the ones left x3 or 4.
Nice looking deck. Only problem I have with decks like these is the speed of which they play. How fast can you get a Eldrazi Titan down and then play something like All is Dust (a personal favourite of mine)?
Try putting in Victory's Herald. Thats a nice card to have along with Battle Cry.
I love mono-red decks. I'm thinking of making one when M12 comes out. I happened to pilfered one from WotC website and put some Chandra Nalaars in there just because she's kick ass. It's this one if you wanted to have a look: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=200532
Nice job. I can see how the deck works, but the only thing I'm wondering is, which creature would you discard for Elvish Piper to get Godsire? Woolly Thoctar? It's the same with the Fauna Shaman as well. You don't really want to start discarding Birds of Paradise. Just something I picked up on =D
I love this! Deathtouch is one of the most annoying ability out there, makes a 1/1 creature extremely deadly as they can topple huge creatures. Always a nice trade off in my opinion. Try and find some cards with First Strike as well. Deathtouch and First Strike are just nasty! Also, I question your judgement on Abyssal Persecutor....... I don't understand why anyone would want that card, at all.
I would agree with that, makes Standard a lot more fun knowing you don't have to put up with extra cheap Baneslayer Angels on turn 4 or 5 and having your permenants being bounced and your deck being omgwtflolpwnage milled.
I would agree with dropping the Birthing Pod, they seem a bit redundant but I do see how they can be used as well to find Melira. The only thing is that you still need to find the Altar so...... I'd take out the Birthing Pods, play a few games without and see what happens.
My god. That is absolutely horrible! I like! I don't think you need the Altar of Dementia for the Aerie Ouphes though.
No Bringer of the White Dawn?
That still wouldn't work. You have to include variation of drawing as well. You have a 4/60 chance to draw each of the 4 cards but you also have to think about the chance of drawing other cards as well. So it would probably be even lower than 0.00136% or whatever that is as a fraction. I'd write it out fully here but I don't think we want to fill a page with Math. lol
What I'm say is that you just Mana Leak the SFM or Doom Blade it, not hard to do really. If you're playing Black you should be carrying some Deathmarks around in your sideboard for white creatures, would sort the problem easily. But you may have a point with the Batterskull. Maybe just ban that over the SFM.
Where's this news on M12 stuff? I've been looking for it but can't find it. I want to put together a mono red deck with lots of damage spells and such and I don't know whether to do it now and just carry it through to Extended or wait until M12 and Innistrad comes out.
Fair enough. I just happened to read the article today and saw this the same day. The article did come out fairly recently as well.
