Fetchlands are pointless. On average, by turn 16, you will have thinned your deck enough to get one extra card instead of a land. If you get all 4 manamorphoses, turn 12. And I don't see any reason for Manamorphose, you're in mono red.

Double negative is just about the strongest counter in standard. It slaps Jund across the face.
I'm aware, but the zero is a reminder for me to consider it.
Peppers, wrong. protection is DEBT: Damage, Equip/Enchant, Block, Target. Ajani does none of those things.
needs moar weenie
In the mean time, your opponent smacks you around. Not fast enough.
I'd prefer UWG or UW, then you get negates and hindering lights too. /shrug. Otherwise, -4 O ring and +4 path to exile. Jund plays Maelstrom pulse on your O Ring, or your Journey to Nowhere.
-4 dismal failure +4 mana leak. -1 Grozoth and -1 Denizen of the deep, +2 Morphling or Sphinx of the Jwar Isle You also need a LOT more draw. -4 Riptide Pilferer +4 Brainstorm -2 traumatize +2 Cryptic command I'd say try to fit in 2 more Cryptics and maybe a few dissmisses
Consider splashing red instead of (or including) white for Double Negative. It lulz at cascade, and otherwise is like cancel.
Oh also -4 Fireball, -4 Akoum Refuge, +4 Dragonskull Summit, +2 Haunting Echoes (alternate finisher, mean MEAN card), +2 mountain. In my opinioin.
Wait three weeks, and replace Megrim with Quest for the Nihil Stone from worldwake ( http://www.gatheringmagic.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/QuestfortheNihilStone.jpg ). I'm definitely making this deck, I've been wanting to make a discard deck since I started Magic!
Who's your general?
Not bad, you'll run out of cards very quickly though. Throw in Chandra Ablaze, and you can have some "draw" for later, or a few final burns.
Toss in lightning bolts for creature control while building up your mountains.
Birds of Paradise can help speed it up some.
Oh, also, with all those fetchlands again Zektar Shrine > Elemental Appeal. Costs 2 and you'll pop it out quickly, and you can save it if you absolutely need to for defense. (For example, you're playing Boros Bushwhacker and its down to a few life each. This attack will kill you, so you save it for the attack and draw any of your cards to win, basically. Except perhaps earthquake..)
ponder + cascade is sexy, although I don't know about lightning bolt. The control is very nice, but it might need to remove cascade, which is alright I suppose.
Convincing Mirage + Spreading Seas. WRB, get Scepter of Dominance and Ajani Vengeant, Ajani is amazing, hands down, either locking down a land or creature destroy, and the scepter locks more lands down. A cascade spell or two won't hurt, either. Specifically, Ardeant Plea. Then you can run Sphinx of the Jwar War Isle for your kill card. take out Clone, Aether Figment, and Manabarbs to put those in. And Platinum Angel, you should be winning when you each have 7 lands. Wall of Denial is also a very nice thing to have.
You have all those fetchlalnds and are not mainboarding Plated Geopede? You nuts. In my RDW deck I started out with Elemental Appeal, but it is not worth it. You'll get more damage over all out of the Plated Geopede, and it's a lot easier to deal with the Elemental appeal than the Plated Geopede. Otherwise it's a pretty standard RDW, which is a nasty deck I do like Elemental appeal, it's just that you have options that are better. Also, unstable footing and manabarbs = <33
Everyone and their mother runs a lot of fetchlands, so the archives are worth keeping, not to mention the combo with path to exile. Twincast is so versatile in this deck, I don't see a good reason to remove it. A huge percentage of the spells could effectively be twincasted. Thanks for the input on the mana base. I thought about howling mine, and it probably would help me.
