I had a 4 player game where I dropped an Iggy with Waste Not on the board. Everyone had full(ish) hands. It was silly.

I'll give it a look as soon as I can buddy. Just know that losing your EDH virginity is WAY harder than your typical 60 card deck. I will look at it though.Currently at a Crosby, Stills, and Nash concert though :)
I tried Chord, but once I started getting my hordes of insects, I was already producing enough mana to play anything I drew. It's kind of a catch-22 in that way.
I'll look at it tomorrow. I'm pretty durnk right now. Found some 6% alcohol pineapple juice. It's amazing....
http://mtgcommander.net/rules.phpBam, all ya need to know.http://youtu.be/YjCM1LqmPRk?list=UU0Z7qMMJZXlkjhZ2V-uwZbwThat video should help a bit too.
Alright buddy, I have a request for ya. My local shop gets a lot of traffic, especially EDH players. Yet to this day, I haven't seen a single EDH deck based around Shattergang Brothers. My request is for you to make a Shattergang Brothers EDH. Feel up to it?
Having Caress or Megrim out and playing Iggy can flat out kill someone by itself. Love it when you get those two cards together.Yeah, I guess I'm spoiled in that three of my best buds AND THEIR WIVES/GIRLFRIENDS play magic, including EDH and our shop's tribal format.
ALSO! I can't believe you haven't tried EDH Jessie. You of all people should give it a try. You'd love it.
Also...Lemme tell you something about Ill-Gotten Gains with Waste Not in play. Holy balls. In a multiplayer game, it's just unreal. I've gained like, eight mana, got a smattering of zombies, and drew about 5 cards...Plus got 3 cards back from my graveyard...Which I could then play because of all the mana!Waste Not + Discard based general = Shenanigans.
I'd say sometimes it's harder because of how EDH plays. You want each of those individual cards to have a significant reason to be there and work with any of the other 98 cards in the deck.
So I also realized I seriously need to find a place in my Seizan EDH for Waste Not. Halp again? =P
Hahaha thanks. That'd be pretty cool =]
Yeah it's like his system test deck or something right? I know one of Ian's "decks" had something like 2,000 comments on it. It's gone now I think, but it was also a system test deck to check if each member at the time could comment or not.Uhhh...I think I had some very early version of this deck back around that time yeah.
Check out the deck called "Fly Blackbird, Fly" by my buddy Quasimofo. It's the best Maralen EDH I've ever seen/played against =]
I think it was either Odyssey or Invasion that someone came up with the phrase (it wasn't Wizards for a while, it was just the nickname players gave it, like "mill"). Then I think in the Lorwyn/Shadowmoor block they solidified it as a phrase with cards referring to "Tribal" interactions. So yeah, I'd say it came about right after you went on your break from magic.
Soul of New Phyrexian will be amazing for certain EDH decks. I look forward to it =]
Tribal refers to a deck with a majority of its creatures having the same creature type. A deck with lots of artifacts is just an artifact deck =]
I gotta say, with what I've already seen people doing with Waste Not, I have a feeling sooner or later someone is going to break the hell out of that thing.
I actually DID have Black Cat I here. But I took it out for Sad Hippie or something. It was for the better, I remember that haha.
Nah, because it's still mostly human. Like 90% of the creatures are human.
