It goes without saying that Jaces/Tamiyo would help but if this is budget we can work from there. Not having black or control seems like an incredibly dangerous proposition. Against a reanimator deck, this deck is toast. Against another mill deck (Nephalia Control or Hedronfall) this will lose as well. Things you could use though if you just want every card to be mill (which seems redundant and unsafe). Broken Ambitions is a milling counterspell. Lich Lord Unx is a zombie mill lord but he's 1UB and UUBB to activate the relevant ability. Without any real draw aside from Merfolk Looter, Jace's Erasure is exceedingly slow. If you're able to rearrange the top card on an opponent's deck (something like Dimir Charm but not black), Mindshrieker is incredibly powerful. Brain Freeze would be an obvious win condition. Or with black, a lethal zombie attack and then Go for the Throat on Undead Alchemist after they don't declare blockers is useful. And most importantly, Psychic Spiral or Lab Maniac since you have so much self mill anyhow, might as well just mill yourself to victory.

You could very easily get rid of everything but black and green which would make your deck infinitely stronger. Then, when you attack, you can use buffs to ensure that damage is being done to the player. Additionally, a lot of the cost of Triumph of the Hordes is giving the creatures infect. There are cheaper means of providing the benefits you're getting, Overrun comes to mind first (providing +3/+3).
Fantastic deck. Sapling of Colfenor would speed it up that extra bit while not overlapping with Leaf-Crowned Elder, methinks.
Instead of doing such a strange mana twist for your lands, try putting in 4 Gemhides and using your slivers themselves to get mana out. That way you don't have to worry about drawing into them correctly (even with your expanse etc).
Nice. Intangible Virtue is incredibly powerful in this deck. I recommend swapping out the Nevermore for another one (in general, Nevermore is a waste of a card unless you know precisely what the other person will be playing and when, generally meaning you're running some blue).
Hint: Skittering Invasion was unnecessary.
I also added islands. And took out eight things. You can figure out which.
Suture priests are crazy anyhow. I hate those common bastards.
It's not about casting cost, it's about consistency of drawing it. Whenever you have a deck that really requires one piece, that one card shifts probability heavily. Think about it 3/60 = 5% while 4/60 = 6.6%. Almost two percent more effective of a deck? Yes please!
Definitely! And I'm a huge fan of Vampire Nocturnus. He is beautiful and in a deck that's so vamp-heavy, he's a must.
The secret to that would be to use a burn spell like Exsanguinate with your mana. One more combo part and you're good to go! :) Plus it puts you at infinite life. So in multiplayer, not only did someone else lose, but you won't (not by that lose condition, at least).
God, faeries are legit scary. Only question is: Y U NO SPELLSTUTTER. That faerie is such a powerful counterspell.
Won't Night of Souls' Betrayal kill off your faeries (which are your fodder for the Braids)?
This is, however, a way to make infinite mana. So, good on you for that!
Not quite. The ability to tap them is one thing and then galvanizers is next on the stack. So you'd only be able to pump it up and then untap everything as they resolve separately.
A lot of infect decks still run Melira, Sylvok Outcast as a last resort (kill her off with legendary rule, countering their attempts to stop you, and if they're infect too, turn the tables). Then again, I just noticed you had doomblade and stoic rebuttal. Oh, you fine girl, you fine. Solid deck.
I can't fully endorse your claim like I would support the one on the mainpage. I think building a Magic deck is an incredibly immersive experience. When I started Magic, I used pre-con decks until I was ready to build a deck. Then, I built a simple decks, a Megrim deck when the card came out and a bunch of ways to make someone discard. But ultimately, good deckbuilding practices transcend level of play. Sure, you shouldn't sink tons of money into something you don't know if you want to keep, but to build a truly effective deck will make MTG that much more fun. I have started building very complex decks and I can honestly say it makes me love the game more than just saying "Now discard a card, cool, I attack with these rats, cool." Play however you want, sure, but don't gimp yourself by not listening to advice from others.
I love the idea of this. Concerned that any creature removal would end the game for you. Perhaps token generation as an alternate win condition? Still, bamf green.
I demand Coalition Victory as a win condition.
If you ever were to decide to add white, Glint Hawk would make Turn 1 even crazier. Return the mox opal to hand and play it again for two free mana on turn one. Still though, awesome job rushing things out.
