Looks good, I guess there is a "mono-blue" control deck at the pro tour this weekend. It does have red or possibly another color in it but mostly mono blue like yours here. Also standard sideboard size is 15 cards.
Are they on the "official" ban list and I missed them, or are you saying they should be added to it?
Haha I do like that Warrior deck, I have one of my own that uses various Axes & Goblin Gaveleer among other things to smash opponentsBudget: Warriors
Yea I have extra cards coming with it, so I can change them out til I get it working. I may end up removing Mass Calcify all together and adding 2x Soldier of the Pantheon and 1x Spectra Ward
Haha... Oh sure now someone comments on my deck, and provides some suggestions. I just bought this deck online Sunday and expect it to be in the mail tomorrow. I like both Spear of Heliod and Godsend but I didn't really think that they were 100% necessary for the deck to win either. Also the fact that they are legendary made me set them to 1. But with play testing I may increase.I felt that Spectra Ward was more of a game-winning card. As the creature would then be untargetable by all the spells in standard, as well as unblockable to everything except morph and artifact creatures. Also I can target a creature that has been bestowed with say, Eidolon of Countless Battles, and not have the bestow/aura fall off.I see what you mean with Mass Calcify, for some reason i thought it was 5 cmc, but I now see that is End Hostilities... I will probably reduce it, but I'm not to keen on End Hostilities replacing it as that would hose my field as well. Unless I then also include Ephemeral Shields or similar to give my creatures indestructibility. I was mainly considered with token generators(like Goblin Rabblemaster) and their tokens.
Nice i like. I made one once they had spoiled all the cards. Mine used more cards from Theros and didn't delve nearly as much.I like the flying morph guy, cause he can bounce things... but I also like the spider in mine cause you can get a needed card back from the grave if necessary, and has a "have-to" sultai ascendancy which could be bad or good.
Looking nice. The only real thing I see at this point is the fact that Qasali Pridemage *destroys* the said enchantment or artifact, but certain ones, like the Gods from Theros can't be destroyed. You would then need to wait til their devotion is met and Path to Exile them once they become creatures.
Looks pretty sweet. Are you able to consistently counter potential game changing creatures and enchantments? You may consider adding cards like Path to Exile or even Revoke Existence. In my play group both Elderscale Wurm and Worship are played, if either hit the field and you are unable to bounce or destroy/exile them, you can't win.
My friend once made a troll deck, his end game was Mossbridge Troll... Pretty big beating stick and auto-regen is nice
Ah yea, I never even thought about the ability to repeatedly tap/untapping of the Gilder... Good job man
I must be missing something...actually the best form of the combo is:T1: Mantle, Island, Training GroundsT2: Land, Bogle, Equip Bogle,T3: Land, Gilder, Equip GilderT4: Kiora, Use Gilder to buff Kiora, Use Kiora's ultimate <- that's only 4 loyalty, not enough for the ultimate
Yea I have been looking at them, they must have just added the new cards to the database today. This is my first attempt at a Standard legal deck for local tournament play, and just not for the kitchen table. Once I get the mainboard locked down, I'll move onto making a true sideboard.
hmm yes, that could work quite well...
Looks pretty nasty, probably would need to play test it a bit to find a good balance between fetch lands and basic lands
Haha, well according to the blue number this deck will cost $147 (+/-$10 )...Use the Deck Stats tab to cut the more expensive cards to create more room for your budget.
At the top of the page you can see, "Draw Sample Hand" , "Deck Stats" and "Deck Details". If you click deck stats, it will give you a breakdown of all the card prices, as well as other useful info. What is your budget for this deck? As it currently sits, this deck would be quite pricey to own.
Ok, that's fine I rework my decks all the time, what you looking for as far as colors? Blue obviously, any other color(s)? Also what is your budget? I think the number highlighted in blue is the most accurate, but it also does fluctuate +/-$10 from the places I normally buy. TrollandToad.com and CardKingdom.comCreature spells with flying you cast cost {1} less to cast.
