I just tought a friend to play about two weeks ago and showed him this deck yesterday; he said he wants to lose to a deck just like this lol

It's not really fair to say any deck needs to "never be used". If this deck worked more than once, it's because you let it work more than once. These kinds of decks show originality and creative thinking - if anything irregular is considered game breaking, it is because you are not challenging yourself to adjust. Hinging a deck's success on one or two cards is a gamble, not an exploit.
It isn't game breaking at all... Disenchant or Daze can win the game.
Idk if you "need" more enchantments, but if you want more go for it. Maybe creature removal?
I can't wait :D
Fast, effective, surprising nice control. Maybe run less lands, though?
I'm a huge fan of these kinds of deck. and I really like what you did here! Very nice!I may have to steal some of this....
Yeah it would make a good sideboard card if you tried a tournament.
It's an older mechanic that almost made a revival. Creatures with shadow can only block or be blocked by creatures with shadow. The realistic idea behind playing a shadow creature now would be the same as playing an unblock-able creature that can't block; you could assume your opponent won't have shadow.
Please do! I like hearing about how decks do with different crowds/circles.
I really like this build! I've pondered this kind of deck for a while now, but never really dived into it :( Having not actually played this deck, Retaliator Griffin seems good. What are your thoughts on it?
I'm lovin' it! I feel so special like a muse! I'm not sure if you would be interested (having not put it in), but Metamorphosis could go with your heavier cost cards, too. Turn 3 Flash your Hulk and use the Metamorphosis mana to play Gutter Grime. I like this one though, it's has a huge replay value - which is nice to get from cheap decks.
If/when you do, please let me know about it! Different decks work different in different circles.
There is a good amount of damage from the shadows (in theory), leaving the rest of your cards to provide utility.
(If you aren't referring to Yawgmoth's Bargain, correct me)It is a good card for sure; however, so many of the cards in this deck are so cheap that Ad Nauseam cost less life. After taking out one card (to account for Ad Nauseam/Yawgmoth's Bargain), there are only 13 cards that would cost less life to draw, while 32 cards in the deck have a 0 cost. There isn't a format issue really, I would play it as a casual deck.
That's a good point for mono black
I originally had them in to activate Disciple of the Vault, while working towards getting twenty creatures into the graveyard. Your comment got me thinking about their value after the changes that have been made and I did take them out, but not just for kobolds. Thanks for the input!
A first draft should never be a final draft. Think on it, maybe play it some, and then do some more adjustments - that's half the fun of Magic, in my opinion.
They cost a pinch more than Swiftfoot Boots, but you may like Lightning Greaves. I would take out Culling the Weak for more Dark Rituals; yes Culling the Weak goes with It That Betrays, but once that creature is out, you don't need mana boosters. Lastly, my favorite thing about It That Betrays vs some of the other Eldrazi is that it doesn't shuffle back into your library from your graveyard - you can bring it back. Imagine turn 2: second Swamp, Dark Ritual, Smallpox, Exhume for It That Betrays. And the best part about Smallpox and Exhume (for your deck) is that they have good utility outside of that combo. Great work so far!
I know right :P
