Well, the first thing I noticed was that there are seriously powerful creatures in there. The problem is expense. All very mana expensive. Maybe some focus on a particular idea and then choosing the best of those heavies to go with and then support from little cheap guys.

So you can get infinite tokens! Impressive!Looks like once intruder alarm is out opponent is just about done!Conceptually interesting!I like it! Though for casual, it might be less than a fun game.Like +1
I especially like that the casting cost of the permanents really jacks the devotion up for the merchant! Its a good deck, Northy!Like+1Would Sangromancer fit?To benefit from Hippy discard
No worries! You asked for me to take a look, and take a look I did :)Hope it helps.Good deck tho.
I agree with Z. Runechanter's first strike won't do much if he's unblockable. Also snapcaster will be plucking fuel for the runecaster away. Of the two swords, I would pick Fire and Ice. The card draw might serve better than the creature return, unless you draw into a terminus. Its a risk I would take.Or you could go a different way and put a Loxodon Warhammer in to increase the beats and gain life. Trample wouldn't do much, but who cares. Your aetherling could pound for 11 and it would be a 22 point swing with your life gain.Or you could go with Moonsilver Spear after a board wipe and start manufacturing some angry angels.Ha! Ok. So Fire and Ice it is? Actually, I would vote for Umezawa's Jitte. The protections of the swords aren't as necessary as long as you can exile your guy at will. The charges on the Jitte remain, so when he gets back he can use them. Some pretty good options there too.On a side note... have you considered Hindering Light instead of Remand? It also lets you draw a card, but doesn't put the card back into the opponent's hand. Other than tempo, I don't really see the advantage of handing the spell back to the evil bad guy.Anyway, its a hugely powered deck! More brooms than the witches' warehouse! As a side note... I'm impressed by Sphinxes Revelation, but I wonder if it will work in play. 3 to get it started and then whatever you pump in for X, it might net less than ideal benefit. Maybe if there was a storage land?
sure! I see a bunch of usa control popping up. Thought I might try for burn. Though the card cost is ridiculous to actually put together.Control would be more natural since blue and white roll that way.The damage output of electrolyze kind of stinks. need the card draw though
Please comment if you get the chance!American burn...is it feasible?
Thanks for the comment!I had not seen a deck like this before either.I thought it might be good.I am glad you like it.I clicked the up arrow on the right to increase your reputation.
Exactly that. I considered Oona, but there are 3 colorless mana in her cost and her token creation is awesome, but somewhat covered with Master of Waves. You think I should sideboard Vanishment?I have it in there to combo with Nightveil Spectre (put the card on top of library so Nightveil Spectre can pluck it off.)I am considering Hinder for the same reason. Thanks for the feedback. oops and a black one
Great Deck! For standard I like it just the way it is. I do echo the idea of sideboarding a couple absurdly big spells in for games 2 and 3.Like +1
Cool! How about Gelectrode? It would seem to fit with your theme.Other possible options to consider: Distortion Strike for its rebound effectForked Bolt for damage as you want it Pyromancer Ascension for more powerKiln Fiend for cheap beater Charmbreaker Devils for expensive beater who gives instants/sorceries backGood deck! I like it! Like +1These duels are fun! The motivation stories are cool too.Btw, I finished a Budget $6 red deck.http://www.mtgvault.com/shinza/decks/budget-6-red-punctures/Enjoy!
Wow! Good work!I like the variety! And LegendaryHero7 is right. This has the feel of a wizard duel!Like +1 on both
Cool deck! The humans have a tough night ahead. The synergy of Slivers is unmatched!I think the power levels are relatively equal though. I wonder how the balance of power would shift if Sliver Queen and Odric, Master Tactician were included.Great job, Northy!Like +1
By the way, I finished my budget $6 green deck. If you feel so inclined, tell me what you thinkhttp://www.mtgvault.com/shinza/decks/budget-6-savage-magic/Enjoy!
I especially like the storyline! I tried the link for the other to no avail.Just when I thought it was safe, the Slivers are Back! Its great! I like the synergy of the slivers! You did a good job!In terms of managing 4 colors, I noticed that green seem to be the baseline color (more forests, manaweft slivers, etc), but the only 1 drop is red and is Striking Sliver. Is it worth it to have 4 Striking Slivers with redundant ability. Maybe drop it to 2 Striking Slivers and increase Manaweft Slivers to 4? For better mana fixing. At any rate, it looks menacing! The humans better bring it! For some reason Slivers always remind me of Pitch Black (movie with Vin Diesel). Hope the humans fare better here. Like +1
Ha! cool. Thanks for giving it a look. I hadn't seen too many Blue budget $6 floating around. Gonna make a green deck and a red one also to round out the challenge.
True that. This $6 budget idea is intriguing. Very restrictive, but rewarding. Its like the MTG equivalent of "small ball" in baseball. No home runs. Just basics. With the volume of cards and the power creep, this brings it back to what the commons can do. Reminds me of when I opened my first pack back in the Revised days and marvelled at the Prodigal Sorcerer and the Craw Wurm
Hahahaha! True! I can just imagine the resulting forehead slap of dismay. I still think your black deck wins, though it may come down to whether my spectral riders can get Holy Mantled up and drop some Blessing before the Black Knights work me over.
