Over Martial Law, Pacifism (Which I see you run) and other cards like it work better, since they 'detain' for longer than one turn and are cheaper CMC wise. Try Arrest or Defang. Or you could run Gaze of Justice or Path to Exile. Actually, Fiend Hunter might be something to look into. He's a human that exiles a permanent. If you are worried about loosing the lifegain from your lands, try CongregateSideboarding can be tricky, its really just a chance to run hatecards and such that you might not need the majority of the time, but better safe than sorry. No, Boros is good but Precinct is better for you with his token making. .I dont know of any token generators that would be better... just instants and sorceries. My personal opinion would be that with all your token power already, it would be better to just take authority out and pop two Gather the townsfolk in. But its your deck, and these are simply suggestions. You run your deck in whatever way works for you and makes you comfortable. No problem sweetie, glad to help.

Exquisite works just like Sanguine, the only difference will be the original target of the lifegain. Both have the same CMC too, though Sanguine requires 2B to Exquisites 1B. And since I already have Vizkopa for its lifelink ability, it would make sense to use Exquisite so theres a possibility of the combo, than making room for both Sanguine and Exquisite when I already run Viz.
@ECHOI have Shards and Devour in SB as food for thought already, for when I build this deck IRL and see what I can afford and what I have to work towards. I dont think I need more blockers, since if they get past my walls I can use lifegain on myself too. I like the green for what it adds to the mix, and I'm making this for Vintage FNM at my local cardshop and for casual play with friends. I appreciate the suggestions though, and I'll always happy to get helpful comments on my decks. Thank you!@SeanLI am indeed a "her" XD
I forgot you had Hero when I was listing lol. No, at 4 CMC you might wanna think about dropping her to a 2of. I would look into taking out some of the higher costs, like Commanders authority, and replacing it with smaller stuff. Smaller CMC's make a faster deck.Riders would be good SB against tribal/theme decks, or main board if you find yourself fighting alot of decks that use a majority of one critter. Human, for example, is a popular type even in non-themed decks. With all your tokens, Intangible Virtue might be good. I'd take out Martial Law for it, at 4 CMC its heavy and only detains one creature a turn. Without more control to back it up its not so good. You dont need the wind scarred crags, since you dont run Red. And it doesnt gain you enough life to make the entering tapped worth it. i'd replace them with 2 more plains and two Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.Boros Elite is another low drop to consider. She'd trigger your human/Soldier stuff like Champion, and with all your tokes she'd be swinging for 3 every turn.
You did really well for a 1st deck! +1My first deck was absolute garbage and like 75 cards XD So you are off to a great start. Here are some cards that might make nice additions, though. Riders of Gavony, Frontline Medic, Grand Abolisher, Gather the Townsfolk, Hero of Bladehold, and Veteran Swordsmith.
Why thank you! I do try to make my titles attention-grabbing. lol.
Infinite loops are indeed a thing, though technically by magic rules you have to call a set number. So with this particular combo, which I also run in a few decks, you have to specify "I gain (number of life, lets say 2 for this example), you lose 2, because you lost 2 I gained 2, because I gained 2 you lost 2, continuing on until you've lost a million and I've gained a million." or something like that. Feel free to look up magic rulings on the combo through google. But yes, it definitely triggers more than once =DNo problem dear! Thats what this site is for.
Why did this fail? I think it looks pretty neat.
I run Tainted Remedy, which is slightly different than false cure. Tainted states that if an opponent would gain life, they lose that life instead. Meaning, my opponent should gain no life, making Kavu a little pointless. I do appreciate the thought though. Thank you for taking the time to comment! <3
No problem! Happy to help. If that swap doesnt sit well with you, try taking out a Nettle?
Yay Burn!I'd suggest looking at Guttersnipe to give your spells some extra oomph. He's the star of my mono burn. And with all your hit-and-sac critters, try Brimstone Volley.
Rat deck! Nice name, +1Pack Rats would be good here, and maybe Liliana's caress.
Just in case you arent aware... since you didnt mention it in your description... you have an infinite combo. Exquisite Blood and Vizkopa's second ability create a loop... gain life while thats active and its an instant game over.If you find yourself low on mana alot, try finding space for a few Crypt Ghast. That should help get Kokusho or Knell out quicker.
It does seem fun! Still, lots of scry but no draw... might be a problem. Throwing in a few draw spells could help, especially when you've scryed what you want to the top.
Nice! +1I'd try Monastery Swiftspear over your Goblin though. Or Legion Loyalist. And with the sac elements of Ball and Devil, try Brimstone Volley.
Guttersnipe is amazing! He's the main focus of my monored and he wrecks face. lol. Might want to... focus your instants a bit more though. All those 1ofs might make it hard to find what you need.
Ooooh now thats a pretty card. Heavy CMC but very nice.
Oooh enchantment EDH. +1Grave Pact might be a better Dictate of Erebos. And Greater Auramancy and Eidolon of Countless Battles might be good.
Thats a great card, but the problem with shroud is I cant tag auras on my creatures. Which kills the Heroic triggers. If it did the same thing, but with Hexproof... oh, be still my beating heart! lol.
True, its CMC is high. Good luck!
