Any thoughts on this one? I'm experimenting a bit for how Jin-Gataxia can be used to its full potential.

You're guaranteed a minimum of two drawings of cards each turn, so if a third can be drawn, probability goes that it will be a land. If you can only draw two cards in a turn, probability has it that on the next turn a land will be drawn. I wrote out the deck, and it works itself out. Basically there is a 1 in 3 chance of getting a land throughout the deck
Done, and thank you
I added artifacts as you suggested. I was just being ignorant. I personally will pass on Omniscience, because, although it's a guaranteed win-con, it simply costs too much for me
Ha I didn't plan for it to be budget. I guess if you take out Ancestral Vision, Jace Vryn's Prodigy, Consecrated Sphinx, Jace Mind-Sculptor, and maybe another, it could be. As far as targeting goes, just destroy their creatures back instead of hitting their life. The nice thing about the deck is once there's enough mana, it becomes exponential. Hitting life directly, therefore, doesn't have to be the only objective. Perhaps with fewer creatures, the other players may wish to take out that opponent too
Great thoughts! Changes made
Good point! Thanks DedWards for the original thought, and for TrackingDevice for letting me think it through again. Curiosity and Mind Over Matter have been added! Also infinite loops of course are solid ha
Thanks for the ideas! I like the idea of ramping up Niv yeah, but doesn't the 21 damage dealt have to be direct combat damage? I think I'd be using time and mana to bring Niv on the field for 2+ each time, rather than using each turn to tap and draw another card. I can see it working as long as there are no creatures to block the attack
Hey, thanks for the suggestions! I added all four of those cards, since, yeah, it makes sense. It also helps to even out my devotion of red and blue. I'm looking forward to EDH!
I just threw this together and could use suggestions!
haha looking forward to it!
I don't agree fully. It may be slow to find the better artifacts, but that doesn't mean it's a bad combo. The smaller artifacts actually move fairly fast. The functions are to increase in strength, decrease the cost to cast the artifacts, find the needed ones, and then to place them directly onto the battlefield. I'd say once any of the large artifacts are placed, the game is set essentially. I also don't think it's so slow that an opponent would overwhelm before then
Ha maybe at first glance. The function is for artifacts, and in particular, artifact creatures, to power together for increasing strength, and placing more and more on the battlefield. Besides lands, only 7 card types are not artifacts themselves. If you take a closer look, do you still feel that they're random?
Open to suggestions!
BasilicaNero, thanks for your input! I added Llanowar Reborn on top of Treetop Village. As for Simic Initiate, I think I'll take a pass. It's a good idea to focus on counters certainly, but I also like keeping Joraga Treespeaker in play due to it being an elf for Joraga Warcaller's effect, and also allowing for mana with Enshrined Memories. I think having creatures still on the battlefield is preferred, since drawing cards can be a problem with low mana casting. I like the look of your deck too! It seems to have good speed as long as you have the creatures in play to act on. Enjoy your playing!
Great thoughts and thanks! Full copies is fair enough. As far as the lands, my thought was to have creatures that provide the mana themselves. Cards like joraga treespeaker, cryptolith rite, elvish arch druid, and others to search for lands seems to work fine. If anything, you can tweak it how you'd like
good thought
Thanks for the thoughts! The distribution is now aesthetically pleasing.
I fixed the curve, and added some new functions. It's all good to go I think!
Good point, fixed it.
