I agree. But I was thinking about the mirror or vs another undying creature matchup. I'm seeing similar builds showing up on the top 8 lists at tournaments. But, they seem to be blinking thragtuk, splicer, etc. (See GW Midrange in this URL) http://mtgpulse.com/event/10190#140373 This was intended to be more of my own spin (noone plays with Vorapede and it's so good!), than a netdeck effort. So, while I want to try and keep it that way - I also expect to see other netdecks like the GW, Zombies, etc that have undying, blinking, etc. I'll try to finish the SB as I'm considering playig it tomorrow night.

Oh, well thanks for letting me know! I guess I'd better take a closer look at the sets allowed. I'll update the deck list when i figure out what i want to do. First thought is maybe preordain, but IDK.
Hey, thanks for pointing it out! It was getting late last night!
This is my modern elves list (although, I admit I'm not sure I like the black splash) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=379886
This is my latest standard elves list: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=373962
Yeah, I got more if you want. I think this was an elf concoction I tried about a year ago? This is probably what you're looking for: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=373962
Yep, love the creatures! I've played with all of those except yeva's. You might consider dungrove in her spot though. dungrove is so good in mono green! I'd drop bower and triumph and go with green sun zenith or genesis wave. Probably opt for genesis wave here since ur at 3 ezuri and have plenty of mana with llanowar and archdruid. That would really accelerate your creature drops. I also see ppl going with GSZ and cratehoof too and that seems to work well. Also, i don't like naturalize in the main. I'd go with rancor. It's just too good to not have it in there! Thanks for you comments and I hope this helps!
I guess I was thinking more aggro like this: Goblins M2013 standard http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=373941 Or, a little less aggro like this: RDW M2013 Standard http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=372407 Or, remove the aggro and abuse proliferate to get off Koth's ultimate like this: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=378759 OR, ramp up to some fatties - then fling em at their face: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=378592 Anyway, I'm not sure I have any advise for this list. But, I'd like to hear how your FNM goes and what you think you might do differently. About a year ago, I played RDW a lot and really enjoyed it - but haven't play it much since. I was thinking about trying my goblin m2013 or rdw 2013 before they rotate out though... so it will be interesting to hear your thoughts.
Wow, this *is* annoying! Reminds me of turbo fog! Good job!
Ya, looks like its getting better to me. Reckless waif will definately make it faster. I'd still drop huntmaster because with immerwolf - it's counter productive. When I play ww, im all about the aggro - the attack is where i get the win. So, i want the wolves to flip and stay there cuz that's where they are the strongest. Mondronen Shaman looks like fun, but I've never used it. Wolfir Silverheart - on the other hand - is a total dominator! It could be game over when he drops! Only problem is he costs 5. With 24 land, you shouldn't miss too many land drops. But, you might occasionally be mana flooded. So, here's my next set of suggestions: -2 huntmaster +1 mayor (he's awesome in this deck) +1 immerwolf (again, this and the mayor help make those attacks for 20+ possible) -1 Wolfir Silverheart -1 Garruk Relentless +2 Garruk Primal Hunter (card draw or add a body) Then, for the sideboard -2 Ulvenwald Mystics +2 Daybreak Ranger (vs delver, tokens, or flip and fight) -1 Scorned Villager -1 Geistflame +2 Beast Within (planeswalkers, or catch all for the unexpected) -2 Natualize +2 Ancient Grudge (vs pod, wurmcoil, swords, etc) -2 Geistflame +2 Pillar of Flame (vs undying creatures) Triumph of Hordes might be nice to add more card draw for long games. Torpor Orb and Grafdiggers Cage are also 2 of my favorite SB cards right now cuz hey can shut down snappy, angels, frites, undying, etc. I really like the sheperd and villager for the roles they can serve, but i just haven't figured out how to fit them in with what you're doing here. So, I'd probably sideline those unless you want to ramp more or expect to need more unblockable effects. The trample provided by the full moons rise and wolf run - or the flip of kruin usually takes care of the need to break through the opponents defenses. Hope this is all good fuel for you!
Bonehoard doesn't count as a creature in your graveyard and it costs 4. So, I'd be looking to replace that with Wolfir Silverheart. Jace might also provide some fuel, but he's a 5 drop. As for the sideboard, I'm more in favor of Crushing Vines right now than the Natualize beause of it's ability to drop delver, angels, nighthawk, etc. I'm also a huge fan of Memoricide in the SB because you can exile watever card you want.
There's so many good humans! I hadn't thought about trying the unblockable route. I like the riders, ordic, and champoin idea! I also like the hamlet captain and mayor for buff! Did you run this at FNM this week? Let me know what you think of this one: RW Kessig Malcontent http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=369563
Thanks for the comments, that exacly what I was thinking! I put those in the sideboard for now until I can fugre out what to take out - (maybe the metmorph?). I was lucky enough to pulI one Bonfire in some boosters. I also added some duals and other lands to the MB.
Nice job! Where'd snappy go? :(
I appreciate peoples feedback, but I'm sorry. I think the deck list you have isn't very good. I don't see how you will ever get to play a charmbreaker with no ramp and 18 land. So, I'm trying to figure out if there's any value in what you're telling me and I just dont get it. Please help me understand what I'm missing.
I really like werewolves regardless of what the haters say. They consistently flip and do 20+ damage. Huntmaster blows in this deck. Don't use it. In my experience, the win condition almost always includes one of these 3 cards: Kruin Outlaw, Instigator Gang, Moonmost. Occasionally, Full Moon's Rise or Wolf Run will save you. I'm not sure about Garruk in here, I've never found the need to delay or get more bodies. I prefer card draw in that slot cuz I'd rather get another Kruin or Instigator after they kill / ratchet bomb / etc than a wolf token. Bonfire is an awesome addition. Hard to get better than that. I'd probably add Daybreak Ranger in there somewhere. He's guite useful vs almost any aggro matchup. I think Ancient Grudge is a must in the SB. But, overall I really like it. Nice job! If you'd like to look at my list, here it is: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=317495
Ya, I agree. I'm frequently guilty of overlooking those early game cards and focusing more on the mid range to late game. This version is a good example as it really needs turn 5+ to finish. I've got some variants I've been considering. The following version is a little lower on the mana curve and has more creature control. So, I'm thinking it's more likely to finish faster. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=358493
Nice job! It seems like every time I've tried something like this - it was a proliferate mechanic using cards like Volt Charge, Tezzerets Gambit and creatures like vamps and stromblood berserker that get counters. But, I like your approach of using cards that provide counters. Here's some of my previous lists Red Vamps and Proliferate http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=355918 RG Proliferate http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=325968 FNM - RG Aggro http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=307873 UR Proliferate http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=339213
List didn't look bad to me until I started doing some draws. I was really unimpressed unless you have burning vengeance.
