Good Budget Deck.

To me, the point of a mill is to mill with a splash of control... not control with a splash of mill... Everything I am doing should be milling or giving me the opportunity to mill. I would put returned centaur in for your defenders... I would consider Mirko Vosk, and the Mindeye Drake. Good deck I will give you a like... Whats your game plan against a sliver deck or an aggro deck that gets rolling immediately?

My only loss has come to a very well built Sliver deck.. but with weight of precinct six and nighthowler in your sideboard you can adjust... the second match went much better against the sliver deck.

Thanks man... I have not lost with this deck yet which pumps me up! I haven't had it in FNM yet but played around 6-7 deck types to see and it has lived up to the hype.

Well let me start by saying its good to see people trying to play with Mill Decks... I know that with the current Standard game flow you won't see many Mill decks pop up.... when I look at the deck you have there are two things that jump to my mind.

1. Holy crap this is an expensive deck and I may want to use my $250+ towards more then one competitive deck...

2. I surely hope the flow works out with your cards otherwise you are stuck/dead very quickly.

I am a large advocate for mill decks and really like the play of them and have had great success winning with my mill deck for very little cost comparatively to yours. I am typically not the guy that links a deck but this is the mill deck I currently play with and I have run appx 10-12 matches with it... I have not lost a round but I have gone 2-1 in a round... the key is to know what your opponent is playing and make the proper adjustments with your side board.

My most expensive card costs 5 mana... so I am able to function and function well on very little mana...

Thanks me too... I have had some success playing it... time for FNM to really test it out.

You need to find a way to give your big hitters trample in the case where "Millko" doesnt go off.

Can I suggest Flipping to Blue/Black... Breaking // Entering is very strong for 2 Mana... even in a Mono blue if you have a Dimir Guildgate you could be effective. Between Tome Scour and Breaking your killing them... get a Jace out and its over.

My Aggro deck seems to be struggling against Control decks if I don't get rolling right out of the shoot.

I think this Deck actually has some potential from my little experience, the first thing that sticks out like a sore thumb is swap out [Common Blood] for [Unflinching Courage] ... same cost... still a total of +2/+2 and you get trample/lifelink.

***UPDATE*** Played my bro in law 5 different Decks... I went 4 and 2... much better then 0-6 the first attempt before this thread... Very fun... My biggest struggle was all of my very low end creatures came out early when I lost and by the time my big hitters came to play he had removal cards ready... I was up 68-7 and couldnt finish because of the draws... the second loss was to his Blue/White Deck and i had to mulligan to start and he drew awesome right off the bat... needless to say... i think the deck will be competetive at FNM and I was missing 6 cards from my deck and 4 from my sideboard last night (But had enough to make 60 card deck)... I found the rest of the cards last night at a card shop and it is now complete so hopefully even better yet.

Does Supreme verdict kill all players creatures? Or just your opponents?

I was playing it with the mystics and thinking along the lines of 24 land.

I played him with My very beginner G/W aggro deck which is being injected with better cards as we speak... and he mopped the floor with me 6 games.

OK... new guy syndrome again.. what is Bant... Deck is updated and this is the version I am going to play with tonight. I will let you know how it goes... I spent a few bucks the last couple of days to secure these cards.

OK i think I am loving Armada Wurm better as it is the same card as advent except it costs 7 mana... and you will have a total of 2 5/5 creatures not just 1... Thoughts?

The only reason it is still in the line up is because I am dumping all my options from here into the S/B so I can hover over the cards and look at everything... look for the update tonight.

As I have done research I came across the card "Fling" which from what I read can still be cast on a card immediately after DoomBlade was cast there for sacrificing the creature instead and dealing the damage to the player using Doomblade.. Obviously Fling is older and a mountain card but is there such a card in standard play for forest or plains with a similar effect? I will message you. Thanks!
