A little bit cmc heavy. might be easier to use Persecutor and golem foundry and 0 cost artifacts to flood the field with golems. either way you need green trample spells or nimbus wings to get past anyone with a goblin, or myr deck. or you'll just be blocked. good idea, a lot of people are putting together golem decks.
Thanks for the input!
If you pull Gravelord instead of Blade, you can hit for 14 using the same combo, on turn 4. turn 5 sac Quest get your 5/5 zombie and rebound Distortion strike to the zombie and hit for 6.
i would add Burning Inquiry, that way you can control how many cards they draw and drop rune flare on them. Trap finders trick would be solid in case you dont pull the trap you need
good call on the Parasite, ill have to replace it. as for distortion strike i only want it on weenies to give 2 damage to a player. so i can stack on Ascension early. pulse tracker will go in instead of Parasite.
I have a similar deck but i added incite so you can guarentee people will attach you, and this will automatically make sure you can cast Righteousness
Looks like a decent Kiln Fiend build, since you don't have U in here with no distortion strike...i would reccomend you wait till M11 comes out, and throw in fling. that way you can cast spells, power up Kiln and fling!
Thanks! Sounds good. Yea i made a pretty tight T2 vamp deck thats close to your suggestions. I just wanted to make low drops and ping off of Bloodchief Ascension and Kalastria highborn to see if it would be fun.
Ill voice my opinion! Omnath is a great card. Not for attacking cause that would be a waste. Imagine if you will...you had a bunch of Llanowar and birds of paradise out, and Omnath. drop gigantomancer and spend 1 per weenie green and destroy the opponent. or Mix in red and drop a 20 mana banefire. your choice.
Hmm no Ball lightning or Elemental appeal?
Ha! i like this. take out surreal Memoir and throw in giant growth. That on the Gnarlid and the bonus on Kiln is sick.
I dig it. You could use a few Quest for the grave lords and thos would be tight.
Awesome, i used to run a similar deck. but one suggestion. add Tainted Sigil. that plus Sanguine is almost a guarenteed win.
I like this, no one runs Ula's Temple and its seriously easy to win with. keep it compact though. 4 of each creature dump mind funeral and traumatize, and bloodchief ascension and Jace. I have spreading seas and Inkwell Leviathan in mine. As long as your opening hand has 1 island and 1 ula's temple, you can pretty much win from turn 3 on.
I like it, i just hope you have a plan before Broodwarden comes out, like if someone casts Shrivel. Good job though, should be awesome.
I build a deck like this earlier in the week, more streamlined though. youre missing Tainted Sigil...a must have. let me explain Consume Spirit with 5 black mana, when you have Sanguine bond and Tainted Sigil out. CS + 5 mana = 5 life and 5 damage to target player Sanguine since u gained 5 does 5 damage to target player, target looses a total of 10 life Sac Tainted Sigil since someone lost 10 life, u gain 10 life. Target player looses 10 life since Sanguine is out. you have gained 15 life total, they have lost 20 life in 1 combo. U win.
Training Grounds reduces the ability of Filigree Sages so it would cost U. Therefore tap a gem +2 (U) and use U to tap for Sages and you get +U in your pool = infinite mana.
I would add more sac lands, and Shards block has borderpost, which you can pay 1, pyt a land back in your hand and put out an artifact (for mana) and if you didnt play land that turn, return the land you payed for and returned to your hand, for more landfall. slap a explorers scope on the coatal for max land win!
I would swap -4 Swamps for +4 vampires bite, super good to slap it on the Nighthawk for a turn, or if nocturnus is out throw it on Child of night, great for life gain.
