I don't often run into wrong-color problems, since the vast majority of the lands provide multiple colors. It happens, rarely, but this deck has also taught me to love the mulligan. It's also a continuously evolving work, as evidenced by above posts. If you want to see the evolution, check out

yeah, cheap decks can be hard to make well, but this one does look pretty good overall. Just keep playing and know which of the more expensive cards you want and you will eventually get them either by pack or by trade even if you don't buy singles- draft whenever you get the chance. In my draft last night I left with Zurgo, Sorin, Ugin's Nexus, and a Polluted Delta just from the draft, plus all the trades afterwards. Gold Mine!

I like it, and it looks like we have very similar ideas on the deck :P I think the main difference is that yours is a little faster and mine has more midrange/lategame power. Simply a difference in style (and, most likely, what they play against- as I was making this one a friend of my was making a standard-legal morph deck to play against it, so I knew I wouldn't have to blitzkrieg out the gate)

Yeah I just put this together real quick off cards I had on hand yesterday, looking at how well the Abzan 'Each creature you control with a +1/+1 counter on it has (keyword)' actually work. I definitely have room to improve here, I think I might splice green to put in hydras, mana ramp, incremental growth and hardened scales; or I might just trash the deck since I play Mardu for standard anyways. This deck really makes no sense as constructed... The only creature that training grounds can affect is glider bairn, you have no creatures for paradise mantle other than glider bairn or ones that already produce mana, tibalt is useless, and domri rade is entirely dependent upon kiora because your other creatures are worthless in combat even with domri's emblem. I like the throught process behind it, the glider bairn/planeswalker combo, but you need better cohesion between the planeswalkers and something to fall back on if that plan doesn't work. Also, look into proliferate- it works for loyalty counters too.

thought about it, but if the deck is working properly there won't be any creatures in their graveyard to exile :P

aquitect's will is useless without islandwalk or something like that, take them out for despise or thoughtseize. I would actually cut blue entirely, and add lightning bolt and nyxborn shieldmate. if you're going to keep blue, throw in hypnotic siren. You definitely don't need llanowars if you only have 8 green cards and no generic mana costs. I think this deck would work best as RWB with 4x shock and 4x lightning bolt, there are a few other one-mana burn spells you could use to really set things off.

as for rabblemaster, with ankle shanker he's a lot more protected and harder to kill, and if there's only one out he doesn't have to attack. with iroas, he's immortal. with ascendancy, the goblins just keep coming and he's insanely strong; the synergies are all over the place :P

yeah, same card made better in every respect... gotta love it (XD) definitely needs to be a four of!
