There's a long history of zombie decks, so that's a good place to start for an undead deck. Here are a bunch of zombie lords: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?text=+[zombie]+[creatures] Throw in your favourite zombies and there you go.

You've got a nice list there; it's certainly more dedicated and I like your use of Runed Stalactite, although it seems vulnerable to just getting its few threats killed (though your counterspells help). Perhaps some sort of hybrid that uses Lord of the Unreal & Runed Stalactite for protection? If I have time I'll mess around with the list and play a few games. Thanks for the advice! =)
Hey hey, Noble Hierarch, I think I'll need to tap that three times so I can cast my Giltspire, mm, yeah, come here, --- OH GOD DAMN IT WHY DO YOU DO THAT EVERY TIME Omnibian: TROLOLOLOLOL
Modesty be damned after all, I can never resist posting a link to Hail Your New Frog Overlords. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=159036
Always makes me happy to see frog tribal
=D I love the inclusion of gilder bairn. Not only does he work well with the simic frogs, he looks like one too...
And Norin wins his second game, defeating three decks that conceded before they played their generals, thanks to a turn 2 genesis chamber and a turn 5 furystoke giant. I think I mostly got lucky there.
sideboard: -3 apostle's blessing -1 abuna acolyte +4 geist of saint traft. I think switching out precursor golem for geist against control is a much better sideboard plan versus control than trying to protect my vulnerable golem army. Hm... and then -2 abuna acolyte +2 day of judgement versus super aggro decks. The acolyte just doesn't seem good, and I don't know what else to put in that sideboard slot.
Thanks again. I liked the mimic vat idea (permanent free golems every turn) but come to think of it, it's really easy to play around just by killing all my many tokens first.
Thanks! I'm still pretty happy with the angel, since I have 8 splicers to copy/blink and Venser's -1 is quite good. You're probably right about Moorland haunt, though I think I'll just replace three of them with basics rather than go to fewer lands. I agree my mana curve isn't great, but just to clarify, the site reads each phyrexian mana as 2 symbols, so my real curve is 4/4/15/8/6 if you count metamorphs as 3 drops. What card draw would you suggest, and what would you take out? It would be fun to choose something that Venser can repeat, but Ichor Wellspring doesn't seem worth it and I want something cheaper than Solemn Simulacrum (though he is a golem, amusingly).
Oh hey, I remember this deck! And now it's on the front page which makes my precursor golem deck (inspired by another front page deck...) look even more like a ripoff! :P It's actually quite different from either of these, since it's UW. I'd love it if you'd take a look =) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=270613
Yes! Frog tribal http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=159036
When a card transforms, it is still the same permanent. Counters stay on them. (Otherwise Garruk Relentless would die as soon as he transformed.)
I played against Reaper King and Zedruu the Greathearted. Obsidian Battleaxe + Pandemonium + Genesis Chamber let me deal 5 damage on each end step, so I was shooting down threats while my opponents only had crappy myr to kill. Zedruu's Godhead of Awe just made it all the more ridiculous, but they got rid of my pandemonium soon after. Hamletback Goliath showed up and Norin built a metropolis on his back 30 counters high, but that didn't help much when there were so many myr around. Unfortunately Reaper King's internet died, and for some reason I attacked the goliath into a guard gomazoa (...), but a while later Confusion in the Ranks showed up and my remaining opponent conceded after a couple rounds of me trading 1 myr for 2 of his creatures on every end step. (Despite some brilliant plays on his part, alas.)
finally played it, it's hilarious except everyone gets irritated by the number of triggers
Undelf? =p
Have you seen this challenge? =) http://forums.mtgvault.com/showthread.php?t=5690
Sorry I missed this comment, I didn't go on this site for a while (and was surprised by my frog deck on the front page =D). Bloodshot Cyclops is too expensive, I think your other cards just work better. And you don't want to splash white for Brion since you've got the Valakut setup.
So you get infinite mana and infinite myr propagators. Why do you need the battlesphere? The sphere can't do damage the turn it's summoned anyway, and you're unlikely to have it out before you get the mana combo. Semblance Anvil is neat but without a way to draw cards I'm not sure how great it is. What about some ponders or preordains instead? Those will help you assemble the cards you need without losing card advantage (you spend a card to get a card, instead of spending two cards to get zero.)
Thanks, I done'd did so. Token decks are great fun.
