I understand the point you're trying to make, which is why the card isn't a larger part of the deck. It's a versatile card that I believe can be used offensively, defensively, and even (in a minor role) as a control card. Mugging is a little too small of an impact, I was thinking either selesnya charm or boros charm in it's stead. (If I was to drop it.)

Four Zegana's could get awkward...
I think if it more like the combination of feeling of dread and silence. It can prevent a verdict or miracle'd entreat, bonfire, terminus. I think it's really versatile, better on the wallet than bonfire too.
Biomancer is one of my absolute favorite cards. Having a zillion copies of biomancer is pretty darn hilarious. I can't imagine the shenanigans if more than four were on the board at once.
One thing I hadn't thought of dude. What about the addition of Searing Spear over clan defiance? Just a thought. The instant speed and low mana cost could be relevant. I think you aught to swap the numbers on Ghor clan and Flinthoof boar.
I can't believe that more people aren't running Aurelia's fury. Standard is pretty darn loaded right now, it's hard to be prepared for everything. I'm on the fence adding another wolf run because of cards like Aurelia and Garruk. It's probably doable with the addition of Borderland Ranger though.
Another point, just because the deck is based around exalted doesn't mean all of your creatures need to be exalted. For example if you put vampire nighthawk or High Priest of Penance in this deck it'd just be silly.
Boros Elite does work in a deck like this.
Pillar of flame?
Why not mainboard Sphinx's?
I literally cringed while reading this list. Looks like a dick to play against.
Cartel Aristocrat perhaps?
You should be running farseek or arbor elves. You've got way too many four cost creatures for you to get anything done once they hit the field.
I've run a similar deck at FNM and it's pretty effective. Cards you might consider are Selesnya Charm and Silverblade Paladin. Biomancer, Geist of Saint Traft, and Silverblade paired with the angel is just sickening. Use the Selesnya Charm for trample on the angel or to exile a big 'ol creature. Drop Fathom Mage and Elusive Crassis for Silverblade and you'll be solid. Loxodon Smiter also belongs in a deck like this. Mainboard those farseeks too.
I love Drownyard Decks. I do feel that you could use another dissipate or so. In my list I run High Priest of Penance. He does pretty well against aggro and reckoner.
I concur. Also, Lingering Souls is a valuable card to stave off aggro decks until you stabilize.
The only suggestion I have is to perhaps add some targeted removal like ultimate price or murder, I mean you are running black after all.
That's actually pretty fricken cool.
I think that spell rupture is kind of underwhelming in this deck. Dissipate or Syncopate would probably be better options.
I think the deck looks pretty good, but I might consider using the Riders of Gavony over Angelic overseer or Sublime Archangel. Also, I'm not sure if the Pilgrims are completely necessary. You could use a card like Boros Elite or Elite Inquisitor instead? Also, the more Silverblade Paladins the better.
