It plays pretty well, although even with 4 of both wincons you will still need something with a lot of draw power like Days undoing, or maybe find another card with Spellfist's eff or similar (Prowess unblockable idea) and run a playset of that too, because the Altar of the Brood wincon will take a lot more time to win with. Or maybe run a playset of something with a CMC of 2 that has transmute. I have also found that adding red and putting molten nursery and nettle drone makes it a lot more unstable. When it wins, it wins on average of turn 5 or 6, so you're gonna lose against a properly built infect deck and some of the fastest burn decks, but that can be expected since they're tier one. The reason this deck can be so good is because of large multiplayer all-v-all games, due to the fact that Altar mills everyone at the same time.
After playtesting, I have decided that Day's Undoing is useful as all hell in this deck, also that more of the Spellfist is a suggestion too.
That deck is awesome, my friend. You have earned an upvoted comment.
This deck is original, and awesome! How is this not more popular! I'm gonna see if I can make it better, though I probably can't.
I find that comment hilarious.
How do you turn 4 ult vraska?
Woops, sorry. I guess I didn't think as much about this beforehand as I thought. Will fix :(
Thank you, I will put progenitus
Ob Nixilis, in the Sideboard, is not standard legal. Not unless Wizards is suddenly allowing cards from 2009 or so in the original Zendikar to be put back in standard somehow.
Thanks for the advice, I'll keep it in mind and edit my deck to see what I can do :)
Not to be rude or antagonistic, but I still think that it should all be about speed and lands that enter tapped are uncool for me. The only alternative would take the deck out of standard: The pay-2-life-to-use-me lands, which are from Ravnica I'm sure. Hold on a sec, I'll brb as I search for a land from BFZ or Origins that enters tapped unless I control X other lands.
Thanks, but I already thought of that. The reason I didn't put it like that is becasue this deck is all about speed, and if my lands come into play tapped I can't use them this turn, even if they do tap for multiple colors. Thanks for the advice though :)
I will do what I can, thank you very much
I appreciate any help you have to make this deck better. Just be polite please :)
Thanks for the advice! I'll see what I can do :)
I will take what you said into account and see what I can do . Thanks for your input! :)
No problem :)
At first I saw this and I thought, "What a nice idea, but you have very little chance of winning. " Then I realized, even if you mull until you have one card, which is the one that allows you to draw until a nonland card, you still have a pretty damn good chance of winning. My reasoning: You have 55 land, so you are most likely to draw land than anything else. Then there's the fact that you run 4 of the draw card and only one of the win condition card, and that means that you have 4 times more chance of getting the draw card when you activate it, which means that you will probably not draw into the win condition until very little is left in the deck and if you don't get to draw through the whole deck, you will probably get another draw card instead of the win condition, and you simply activate the draw card you drew (possibly next turn) to draw again, until you get to the laboratory maniac. So you actually have a pretty damn good deck on your hands Good job building a deck that I don't think anybody else has a build of that is this good.Although, I have only 1 thing I found wrong in this deck. That is the fact that you have no other win condition other than the draw thing. Thus, if such a card existed, I would suggest (kindly) that you put a card that allows you to exile X cards from your graveyard to deal X damage to target player. But, no such card exists, so I can't suggest that.Once again, this is NOT a critique of your skill or smarts or anything like that. It's just a suggestion combined with a congratulations.Good job with the deck :)
