Might I suggest Burst of Strength instead of Battlegrowth? It has the same mana cost, and does the same thing except that it untaps the creature it targets too.

You should think about putting Sanguine Bond and Exquisite blood in there. Because here's my thinking: You play sanguine bond. Cool, right, you gain extra life. Now you play Exquisite Blood. WHAMMO!!! Infinite lifegain INSTA DEATH otk.

Would Whip of Erebos be a good fit for you? Returning creatures AND lifelink is pretty good for me in a deck based around the grave.
