There's nothing to fix about the Leyline. The wording doesn't spell out the legend rule, it just says "All nonland permanents are legendary.".

The Legend rule was changed in 2014.

[[Lier, Disciple of the Drowned]] seems really good in this. [[Cerulean Wisps]] or really anything that targets and draws cards seems disgusting with Orvar.

If you really want your playgroup to hate you, you could play cards like [[Twiddle]] with [[Agent of Treachery]] or [[Venser, Shaper Savant]].
