says the internet tough guy...I would have figured you'd have found a fire to fall into by now. There is nothing I said that isnt true, and in fact, my post is complimentary, you just read it negative, so it comes off negative. thats your problem, not mine.

not everyone plays formatted magic. This deck, sorry Jessie, would not survive in a "format." its Legacy/Vintage legal, and those players are used to operating on a very small mana base, and Plow Under is very bad against fetch lands and shuffle effects, like Ponder. The deck looks like a lot of fun at a casual table, which is exactly where Jessie designed this to be played, right?
it is wholly unnecessary....the combo works fine with one. multiple chain veils would likely just slow you down.
this deck is clearly standard, and that cad is not........
thanks man. part of the power of transmute is not having to run 3-4 of the relevant combo pieces. I had a list that ran 4, and you just draw too many. you only need one, in most cases, and in games that you expect artifact hate, it is possible to complete the combo and go off in one turn, if you have enough mana, which just means you play the control role a little longer. Architects of Will fill a card draw role, and can step in to deal some damage if you need them to. its not a perfect backup plan, but its something :)
Architects of Will do a lot of drawing a card, and Thought Scour serves as a way to draw cards, interrupt Scry, and start the combo, so maybe that should be a 4 of, but idk. maybe 4 thoughtseize is too many
its OK Jessie, some people just read everything with a negative tone, and those people lead miserable lives. thanks for the Upvote, though. I have a new deck you might enjoy :) Check it
in THIS deck?
...what about the legend rule?
Bestow and the God interaction coming out of the same set made for a pretty confusing prerelease to judge...lol
no worries, like I said, I wasnt exactly sure what you meant, so I figured I would clarify a bit.
even if it has bestow, you cant get it with Pilgrim. not sure if thats what youre trying to say or not, just making it clear.
lol. you cry a lot. I may not know it all, but I do know quite a lot about this game. I dont care what the pros do, I get my information from my own playtesting and tournament results. Yes, Melira has an ability. its cute. It is not used the way you want it to be in a competitive world. In EDH, it can be built around. In casual games, it can be useful. In the competitive world, there are not enough infect decks to make it relevant. it is too narrow in decks that dont use it to combo, and there are better sideboard options.
no one plays Melira to combat Infect. she is only played in Modern because she combos with Murderous Redcap and Viscera Seer to deal infinite damage. Stopping Infect is a bonus, if it ever comes up.
meh. this is better in Modern where you can just play Presence of Gond. but then you would be playing modern, where you could just be playing Splinter Twin.....
Like I said above, and got shit for, Infect is a Glass Cannon type deck. it either preforms perfectly, and you win, or you stumble and lose. there is very little middle ground
I agree that Purphoros is better here than Hornet's Nest. You wont always need deathtouch, but you will always need to deal damage.
the card draw one is wall of blossoms and wall of Omens, both outside standard legality
the ability works, dont get me wrong. Kurkesh can copy any activated ability. the issue, as I see it, comes up with the wording of the chain veil. you cannot activate the same thing once per turn twice, which is what copying that ability does. its the same kind of redundancy that using Vault of the Archangel to give a Vault Skirge lifelink. Im sure this will be addressed, and until it is, the camps will likely remain split.
I know how it works, but not everyone will. being lazy on details like this will keep people from giving you likes.
