Yeah, it's the direction a lot of professional players are taking with the vampire decks. It's more consistent.

Holy Combo Deck batman!
I didn't even put this together...Wow! I'm gonna go try and make this a competitive archetype now. Figure out a win-con or somethin'

The U/W M10 Dual would help you a whole lot. Dispel seems a little awkward in the maindeck, I'd run Negates over Dispels. If you can get your hands on Jace, the Mindsculptor, I'd replace Jace Beleren with that.

Also, bulk import works pretty good so far.

idea: life from the loam. Take a look at the 43 lands deck that's running around legacy, you might get some good ideas. It's got exploration too, which is like a 1 mana oracle without the top deck effect.

interesting! quite interesting indeed. The manabase needs a little work (tropical island over breeding pool, and more fetches for starters), but overall it's got the beginnings of a fine deck. There's some other things I'd add, but they're not necessarily necessary, and this is my own competition after all, so the idea looks good so far! keep up the engineering!

Wow, this is really cool, just finding all the synergies took a little more looking than I anticipated, well done! My Johnny's all atwitter from this deck.

@Shadow_Thief: All basic lands, and by extension their land types, have the implied ability of T: add whatever color to your mana pool. Putting Urborg out makes All lands have the land type swamp and does not give them the supertype basic.

Rule 305.6. The basic land types are Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest. If an object uses the words "basic land type," it's referring to one of these subtypes. A basic land type implies an intrinsic ability to produce colored mana. (See rule 605, "Mana Abilities.") An object with a basic land type is treated as if its text box included "{T}: Add [mana symbol] to your mana pool," even if the text box doesn't actually contain text or the object has no text box. Plains produce white mana; Islands, blue; Swamps, black; Mountains, red; and Forests, green.

Well, it's another Anti-Jund deck. yup. Seems like Mono Red might have some difficulty with it too. and then there's boros....well, at least you beat Jund, right?

Ok, that's fine, knowing that it's casual takes a lot of my comments away, and that means there's only one thing i greatly dislike here: the Grim Discovery. Maybe if you were running harrow and terramorphics/fetches, but it just seems like you're not getting the full value of it. might as well run disentomb, you know?

ok, quick tip on just deck editing in general, there's a little x beside all the card entries when you're deck editing, if you click it it'll put a confirmation thing up at the top of the screen, click yes and it'll delete the card (use it on the 0 quantity cards, i beg you). In a more relevant comment, very nice considering you're building off your collection. Considering this is budget, try looking at the Naya deck that won worlds, and edit that to your collection (i.e. take out the 4 baneslayers). The Ranger of Eos engine is really nifty as far as your colors are concerned, but if you don't have the cards for it don't run it ( the Wild Nacatls are something else entirely however). Overall, I like it. The Glory of Warfare's pretty nifty, but your sideboard's just all over the place.

I have 3 quick questions and then I'll duck out of here. First: is this a competitive deck, or a casual deck? Second, why not fetches, if it is competitive? And finally, what's the diabolic tutor in there for?

@ smalrebelion: Thrax is really good for one reason: three swings and someone dies. you don't need to one-shot 'em, just nail 'em for 7...then 7, then 7 more, and they die. I gotta update this list, maybe tomorrow, it has changed considerably. Much more countermagic, more multiplayer oriented. Took out the tribal aspect though, anyways, I'll update it soon
