At the time of making this deck on here I figured I'd put 4 in because it's pretty much the card that makes the deck sort of work (or at least better). But now I think I have three of it in my deck though I sometimes go down to two. Three seems to be too much still, while when I have two I never seem to draw it haha.

No, I put it together to kill some time at work haha. Let me know how it goes, because I'm in the same boat as you haha.
Maybe, but I don't think one kind of instant card (or two if you include Lightning Bolt, but even then...) warrants the use of Iscohron Scepter.
Did you read my description? I might switch it in for Mondronen Shaman but I feel Huntmaster wouldn't do that well because I don't see myself transforming often, especially with Immerwolf.
For a deck that's supposed to be a mill deck, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot, besides Glimpse and Mind Funeral of course. If you're going to make a mill deck, try to go full out instead of relying on eight cards out of your sixty.
Yeah, I have two Pyroclasms in there already. I like them, and in any other deck I would have four of them but I sort of have a feeling the four would be too much. I think I'd run into a situation quite often where instead of a Pyroclasm I'd rather just burn them for three or whatever.
I'd keep the Journeys in. Unless of course you find yourself really wanting either the Angel or the Baloth quiet often in games and not getting them. Otherwise having removal is always a good thing to have in a deck i think. If you reeeaaally want the two in, i'd probably get rid of the Adventuring Gears, or Emerge Unscathed's. Adventuring Gear is good, but you don't NEED them to win, you know? Emerge's just don't seem like they'd do too much, but hey, this is your deck haha.
Nighthawks i think i'm going to keep in, just because they're that good. For now at least they will. Terastodon is actually out of the deck right now. I have been planning on getting some Ob Nixilis's, but for some reason haven't thought of using some Bloodghasts. They're way too expensive though. I have been thinking about using Explores. I took out two Search for Tomorrow's for two Kodama's Reach just to test them out. I'll probably do the same with Explores. Thanks!
I've been thinking about making a G/W landfall for awhile now, and when i do it'll probably look a bit like yours. It seems like you have just about everything covered. The only thing i would suggest is maybe going down to three Oracle's in the deck. I used to have 4 in my landfall deck but i hated having two of them in my opening so i dropped one. If you could, could you look at my landfall deck? It's kind of goofy being G/R/B but i like it. It's my lovely landfall one. Thanks in advance!
Honestly, like my deck description said, this deck used to be based on Rampaging Baloths with Pandemonium. I would produce a lot of tokens, and deal a lot of damage with Pandemonium. But i found out that i was holding onto Pandemonium more often then playing it, and when i did play it it hurt me more than my opponent. So i decided to get rid of it and just kept it G/R. That's when Jokulhaups came in. I wanted to have a DoJ or something like it in my deck, but the closest i could get was Jokulhaups. And yeah, you would think that it would hurt me quite a bit, but i usually cast it with a Khalni Heart Expedition out or something to get my land back quicker. It's a minor inconvenience for me to have to build up my land, but even more so for my opponents who have to draw and wait for them. Cultivate is definitely good. I might try it out sometime later to see how i like it. Though if it's the same EXACT thing as Kodama's Reach, how is one for mono green deck and the other isn't? Haha. And yeah, i really like the landfall mechanic, and plan on getting more of the other colors to make other decks.
Care to elaborate on this? :) Terastodon might get taken out. Just been testing it out right now. I like that it gives me a way to deal with planeswalkers. Jokulhaups is definitely staying and i'm planning on getting and putting a second in. It's saved my ass and won me games numerous times. Search for Tomorrow for Cultivate though? Interesting. I really like Search for Tomorrow and how i can drop it turn 1. I've been thinking about using Cultivates or Kodama's Reach though.
Normally i would say that you should cut back and use 4 of's of the best slivers you think you have, but i could see this working out as well. I have a sliver deck also and have played both ways (1 of's versus play sets), but i just like having play sets of slivers better. Actually it's sort of both ways now that i think about it, but i plan on getting more playsets of cards. Gemhides, and Heart Slivers are definite 4 of's though IMO. It's awesome being able to play slivers and use them as mana to play more slivers right away, and use those to play more slivers....haha. That's where distant melody comes in too. With Gemhide's you can play them fairly easily. If you could look at any of my decks (my sliver, and/or my landfall in particular) that would be great!
I would think about putting in Stormtide Leviathan in this deck as well. Yeah having a bunch a fliers in a deck is cool, but that seems like the only strategy going on here. Granted it is a bit expensive, but the leviathan gives you more control over your opponent while having a fat creature that you could swing at them. Just an idea.
Jesus Christ, there is no reason to start bashing him undeservedly like you did. Especially when he's been told about the Ziggurats like five times before your post. Learn to be nice, get real.
I like this deck. Seems fun. I've been thinking about making a deck like this myself sometime. Why do you have Gigadrowse in here though?
You can have as many types of BASIC land in your deck as you want. Non basic lands like dual lands you can only have four of. And yeah, i question Traumatize as well. It's a good card but doesn't really fit. I don't really get why Zur's Weirding either.
I usually put in cards that i'll maybe use in the sideboard, and Platinum Angel was one of them, I just never took it out after main decking it is all.
You must be thinking of Abyssal Persecutor. Platinum Angel makes me not able to lose and my opponents not able to win; why would i need to sacrifice that? Repay in Kind would work well in the deck, but it's way too expensive to play.
Yeah i just added in some. They're just a bit pricey and i wanted to leave them out if possible.
You know, i never made that connection that you could bring them back. That's actually pretty awesome. Does seem to hinge a lot on just 2 cards, but that definitely makes it seem more well rounded. Dedicated Martyr's would be brilliant in this deck. Just keep sacrificing it and gaining life.
