I've updated the deck after seeing what other people think. I still think I might have just a few too many lands in there, but I am unsure what else could go in other than more copies of Time of Heroes or Thrummingbirds. Again, all advice is welcome.

Thanks for the advice. The thrummingbird was something I overlooked.
Thanks for the advice! I know I need to lower the curve, and I prefer to work on land as the very last thing. Dual lands are a must and I will be grabbing some next time I go to my local card shop. I agree I need more of the venerated teachers. What is your opinion on the Time of heroes?
Yeah, I know the mana problems are huge. I decided to post this deck as is instead of trying to make it how I want it to be. I know that dual lands would be better, but i would prefer to work on the creature base first, then work on the mana problems. So, any advice on the content of the deck?
I've always been interested in dredge decks, but never got around to making one of my own. Could you give me an example of how it would play?
Sorry to say but Griselbrand is banned in EDH.
Just a heads up, Griselbrand is banned in EDH. Maybe a Lord of the Void for replacement? Oh and Primeval Titan is also banned.
I've found that I just use Varolz to scavenge onto Lotleth. Since Boneyard Wurm scavenges for all the creatures in your grave it's an amazing discard then scavenge on Lotleth.
Really aggresive decks. Anything like a haste-y bash your face in deck. Naya blitz. Rakdos. It's stronger against boros because they don't deal enough damage fast enough to deal with my life gain.
Oh, right my fault. Didn't see that.
Deadbridge is 6 mana. But I can still see how it wouldn't work as well with all the mill you already have. Just a slower version of what your deck does.
I've found that I would rather spend the four mana on a new creature. But, did you play with the Deadbridge Chant? I've been wondering how it would play and even if I can play it.
It is. I think the best games I've ever played were with this deck. With Platinum Angel on the field I was at -137 life. Played True Conviction, and won the game with 80 life.
Ah, my fault. Didn't realize it was a 0/2.
If you're looking for ways to make it standard then I would suggest replacing the Akrasan Squires with Duty-Bound Dead. Still a 1 drop 1/1 except black and it can regenerate. Or you could throw in some Tormented Souls for unblockableMaybe take out the Terror for Ultimate Price or Murder? They can regenerate from it, but there's less restrictions.Essence Harvest to add another win condition since Exalted lasts till end of turn.
It has to be a legendary creature dude.
I've found that running infect always makes the game shorter and less fun for everyone involved. I would rather play for fun than the fast win. I prefer not to put infect in my decks even if it would make them better.
I don't know if I'm missing it, but who is the general?
I noticed that you are missing a few of the cards that I think are essential to a Rafiq deck. I would suggest looking at: Sovereigns of Lost Alara, Silent Arbiter, and Finest Hour are all really good additions you could look at.Also, for a blue deck you lack any sort of draw power, so maybe a Rhystic Study or Top if you have one.
I think taking out something would hurt the deck more than putting a Predator Ooze would help. I really don't see how an Ooze even fits in the theme of the deck.
