I honestly think you would benefit if you separated your Vampires and Zombies into individual decks. Instead of relying on Madness mechanics, I'd say run Zombie Infestation instead, with graveyard retrieval like 'Gravepurge,' or handy 'Gravecrawlers' as a creature upgrade. Run good old Doom Blade, or tragic slip as your side board. Call to the Grave could be potentially fun for your deck, as well as Demonic Appetite for some quick damage.

Really cool! I've wanted to build something like this myself. Seems to have the potential to be powerful too!
There is a cool combo with Thing in the Ice if you're running Gitaxian Probes and Remands, that allow you to transform it as early as turn 3, or even earlier if you get a lucky enough opening hand, and they go hand-in-hand with Spellskites.
I've always liked Jori. I traded something to my buddy for a small pile of cards, and Jori was one of them. I haven't built anything around her yet, but I like her mechanics. I think there's potential.
I run a mill deck, and I find Cyclonic Rift to be a pretty handy spell. It's a bit versatile that it can bounce any nonland permanent, and the overload ability is really nice when you pull it off, usually wins me the game.
Oh isn't it? My bad. Yeah I get confused these days, my buddies have slowly transitioned from Modern to Legacy/Vintage.
Jace, Vryn's Prodigy; Snapcaster Mage, or Thing in the Ice are my recommendations to synergize with your spell heavy deck, but it seems you're aiming to be more budget, in which case I would like to suggest: Kiln Fiends, Assault strobes, Molten Rain (which has already been mentioned) or Price of Progress. Price of Progress is especially mean, being that the majority of players run mostly non-basic lands, but with your deck only running 4 at the moment, it could be viable.
Ha ha, some time after leaving the comment I realized what he was going for. Cheat creature into play with Nahiri, flicker it with Restoration Angel, resetting it, so it remains permanently in play.
I'm a bit confused with the mechanics of the deck. Am I correct in assuming Nahiri is used to pull out those legendary creatures? But what is Kiki-Jiki used for? To copy the restoration Angels, which can bounce your creatures? If that's the case, wouldn't it be more efficient to use something like Cloudshift instead? Was just wondering.
Ah, yeah that makes sense. It's interesting how the mechanics of cloning work. If it was just Clone instead of the metamorph the same effect would occur, even though it only copies a creature.
This is a little outdated isn't it? :P
Not sure how efficient it would be, but it would be amusing to have Distortion Strike or Aqueous Form as maybe sideboards cards to buff your unsuspecting 5/5 indestructible creatures. Hypothetical question: If you enchanted your Darksteel Citadel or Relic and made it until a 5/5 creature, then cast like a Phyrexian Metamorph, it would be indestructible as well wouldn't it?
Interesting combo that also happens to be pretty mana efficient too. Just have to worry about Artifact hate like Stony Silence, or the one drop creature removal like Path to Exile or Lighting Bolt.
I logged into my account just to comment how awesome this deck is. Now this is Synergy! Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!
There is also Conjurer’s Closet too. http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=conjurer%27s%20closet
There is some handy cards from Avacyn Restored expansion that will help you untap your commander. Check out: Galvanic Alchemist, Ghostly Flicker, Ghostly Touch, Nephalia Smuggler and Peel from Reality.
I always thought FIRE SERVANT was a cool card too. Have that down and use a lighting bolt, BAM 6 damage, or Red Sun Zenith kicked for 5, does 10 instead! Than you got COMET STORM or BONFIRE Of THE DAMNED and yea... those are just good fun! ^_^
But effective. 1 mana for 3 damage to creature or player? Hell yes! Doesn't get much more versatile than that!
I personally think it would have been more fun to try to make a draw engine based on your commander. It would be neat to find a bunch of cards similar to JACE'S ERASURE so when you have your commander down your opponent would be basically milling himself whenever he attacked you. I'd definitely recommend putting any kind of counter spells you got in there with blue, my buddy is notorious for that with his ZUR THE ENCHANTER EDH, half the time I have to use more than one removal spell just to get rid of one of his permanents, GRRR! Stupid counter spells! >:(
Now that you're buying cards a few I would definitely consider: VEXING DEVIL, HELLRIDER (a personal favorite of mine), Killing Wave and where the hell is LIGHTING BOLT!??
