it's not a weenie deck.
I play this online (free) and the filter is a nice bonus. It doesn't NEED them at all :P
Double post of cards for some reason..
Rapid Hybridization and Curse of the Swine both make creatures into tokens. So does Swan Song. Master of Waves, Elspeth, Brimaz and Xenagos all make powerful, dangerous tokens as well and are main parts of the meta - so Illness does a lot here.
the deck has Devour Flesh and Cyclonic Rift (overloaded) in the SB. It also features Thoughtseize - so you can get rid of the hexproofed targets before they're ever a problem.
added! How could I forget!?
Ashiok was actually in the originial cut, but I decided that he was a little too hard to defend while keeping up with the mana.
Correct - sorry about the wording :P Maze's End is definitely one of the main, if not the main win con in this deck. The other aspect of the deck is the immediate power threats from your planeswalkers too though. If any of them manage to get a strong build going, most players will crumble to them before you ever have to worry about Maze's End triggering.
You know - I had it before and was worried it wouldn't be super good. I'll re-add it. Thanks!
4 Foundry as well - 8/24 is a good chance for a 1cmc card.
thank you!! Fixed!
artifact lands..
thank you! still working out a few kinks (especially with the lands)
Standard please, guys! :D
Agreed - it's a casual deck for fun :)
that's a good idea on the spear. I was debating it for a bit, and never even thought about Daxos!
Added to SB!
added! Thanks!
Doom Blades, Downfall and Read the Bones are all sideboard cards for the reasons you stated actually.
