i just played against a whip deck yesterday and thought the same thing. bummer is that this deck was stolen yesterday so ill have to start it from scratch again. thanks though! mained the whip

PLEASE any suggestions or what to use for SB would be amazing! looking to take this to a standard tournament this week! help!!

with all the ramp i would go with ulamog or kozilek (never liked emrakul) but pfft its not like you really have to be too picky :)

i wish i could like this deck twice!

it seems like so much fun busting out a 9/9 turn 2 and by turn 5 having shadowborn demon wouldnt be anything to scoff at!

good call! only reason i would avoid pontiff is that the little creatures are the ones with extort, so theyre there for early game drain, not to have all the bigger guys have extort in addition to their normal abilities. i just think his CMC is too high to really be useful.
good suggestions though! mained sanguine bond and popped blind obedience in the sb. wouldnt a couple one thousand lashes be more useful than blind obedience?

PLEASE comments/suggestions as to how to make the combo work more smoothly or streamline this deck and make it faster would really help!!!!! lots of 1 offs id love to get rid of in this deck but im looking for suggestions as to what to trim out

only thing is that whip has no effect on obzedat since he doesnt go to the graveyard at the end of your turn. he exiles himself completely so you cant (and have no need to since he comes back on his own, too) use whip on him

nice budget deck, but it def. needs some hexproof. maybe privileged position? a bit heavy for your curve at (5) but should at least lend a hand at preventing removal...SB?

i thought of putting in foundry for late game to shuffle my graveyard back to make it easier to win by decking.

and stasis to stall for ilusions/donate combo
what were you thinking rather than them? or just sb them?

awesome build man! i would think about adding 2 fiery conclusion and 2 fling in place of orcish bloodpainter as they would get buffed from your electromancer and end up dealing much more damage than bloodpainter in the long run

maybe goblin bombardment...even though theyre like $2 each

awesome suggestions! nightveil specter is a great addition i cant believe i didnt add him in there to begin with. same with victim of night i was also thinking of putting in terrors or edicts in anyways.
