Bloodghast, mortician beetle, slitherhead and demonic appetitite are good additions and maybe a cavern of souls for zombies

My friend has a deck nearly exactly the same as this except its modern legal and he played and went 9-0-0. I was shocked when I heard this as this is only about $20 where as many people spend hundreds on modern decks

Lightning Shrieker is terrible. Its pretty much Lava Axe. I tried playing it at the prerelease and sucked. Horrible for limited, horrible in general. But I like the deck! +1

Deflecting Palm would be a nice card to add and when Soulfire Grand Master comes out you should add that too

If he is not playing on a budget, then definitely add watery grave maybe some polluted delta and/or temple of deceit but this seems to be a budget deck so all of those might be too pricey.
