Thanks much ! Looks fun. Seems like it'll make good use of Kruphix's mana banking.

If you wouldn't mind doing so, that would be great.
Been digging around for some inspiration to start my first EDH deck. I'd already decided that I wanted Kruphix as my Commander, so I was pretty excited when I came across this, it's exactly what I was looking for! Any final tweaks you'd suggest before I order?Oh, I also finally updated my Simic decklist to match your advice.
Not sure why I didn't see this earlier. Thanks for the advice!Correct me if I'm wrong, but Proliferate doesn't double the counters, it adds one additional counter. Not to discount that, it's still a huge advantage, and a lot cheaper than something like Solidarity of Heroes. Not to mention the fact that I'm gaining more than just the additional counters with those spells. When I first built the deck, pre-Khans, Bramblewood Paragon was basically my only option. Now, with Tuskguard Captain much cheaper and with the added bonus of Outlast, I agree, he'd be a good replacement. Bred for the Hunt looks fun! How about Ooze Flux? That could be entertaining, allowing me to start pumping out tokens, which trigger evolve, which, in turn, allows me to make more creatures. Thanks much for the advice!
Thanks for the tip!

Excellent list, as always! I actually ordered your Warriors of Fate list a couple weeks ago, and I've been very satisfied with that purchase. It's a fun list to play, and has a pretty good track record so far, so thanks for that. Would you mind taking a look at my Simic list, see what you think? It's in bad need of a revamp...http://www.mtgvault.com/lindel1324/decks/simic-evolving-swarm/
Changes look good! A cheap card I might also consider is Sunbond. That thing can be a huge pain to play against in the right deck.
Honestly? I doubt it. I watched a game that went on almost long enough for someone to draw themselves to death. It involved massive blockage, but in the end the player playing life gain, who at one point had 80+ life one point, lost. And he'd only been able to hang on that long due to his own massive wall of flying Spirit tokens. Unless you're actually playing mill, I'd never count on the player drawing themselves to death. Unless you're playing the Spike Feeder/Sunbond combo, that is...
What's your win condition? Sure, having tons of life is great, assuming you even get that far, but you still have to kill your opponent. As it is, you've got one creature that could potentially be any larger than a power of 2. That means it would take just about twenty cards to deal the twenty damage to kill your opponent. Your Pridemate might be able to get bigger than that, but he's got no way to get through. No trample, no evasion, no nothing. So you're going to need some potential threats on the table. The specifics are up to you. Archangel of Thune can be devastating in a good life gain deck, but it sounds like that's a bit out of your budget. The main takeaway is all about endgame. How are you going to defeat your opponent? Probably by bringing their life total to 0. How will you go about that? If the only scenario where that happens is when you play nearly every creature in your deck, and your opponent has absolutely no defenders... that's not a good place to be. All else said, glad to see you're looking to start learning early on! It wasn't until years after I started playing that my deck-building actually started shaping up. You're on the right track. Keep trying, experimenting, seeing what works. Use online resources. There's a ton of great articles out there on the basics of mana curve, card advantage and card economy, and so forth. Good luck!
I only need three mana to get it into play with Show and Tell, or four using Academy Rector+Wrath of God. Once Omniscience is out, each of the other pieces of the combo can come out for free. Edit: The main point is that I don't want to draw Omniscience, because I don't plan on casting it from my hand. Using Scry effects, I can help ensure that Omniscience doesn't enter my hand, and that I find one of my ways to put it into play from my library.
I suppose adding more copies of Omniscience would better ensure that there's at least one that you don't draw, though.
You don't want to draw Omniscience in this deck anyway. You want to search your library for it using Show and Tell or Academy Rector, so you can put it into play free.
Why? The combo of Omniscience and Tamiyo's emblem is the primary win condition in the deck, so I don't think it would function without it.
Nice deck. The combo between the Archangel and Spike Feeder is epic! Infinite +1 +1 counters for all your creatures is pretty great. I would include more copies of both the Archangel and the Spike Feeder to better ensure drawing the combo.
Thanks for you advice! I find that Clout of Dominus helps keep important creatures on the field against removal-heavy decks. Perhaps sideboard it? And why one Niv-Mizzet?
Wow, I missed a lot of those synergies on first glance. Lightning Helix with the Scepter is just insane. And I guess I didn't really think about the implications of having a Hellkite in play when you've got the ability to pretty much wipe out most of your opponents board. Ajan's first ability also lets you tap down any defenders that might survive burnage. This is quite an impressive deck that has much more to offer than I saw when I skimmed through earlier.
Nice! There's a lot of excellent instants for the Isochron Scepter here. Do you have a specific endgame strategy, or is it just zap your opponent every turn until they're dead?
Oh, didn't notice yours. =P
