Glad you enjoyed it. Will be tweaking it a bit. Trying to make a set of decks that are easy to play but not too boring.

Thanks. I'll figure out how to squeeze them in.
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=198301 thats the official rules and clarifications for cast through time. Didn't notice anything that mentioned X spells but it may still be worth a read.
Nice spirit deck. I play control but my favorite has always been aggro. I made an aggro green flying/only blocked by flying deck a while ago to show that any color set can do aggro if the deck is built right. Your deck just helps my theory along!
Scornful egotist has been one of my favorite cards. I didn't even know birthing pool existed. Oh woe. Time to dust off my egotist. I think this would allow me to make a deck that my GF would enjoy. She likes the occasional cheese once in a while herself.
No, it needs more cow bell.
what about bloodshot cyclops?
Wow this is similar to the shade deck I used to play when I Was a more active player. nice job.
probably because I missed it when making the deck. what do you suggest I drop for it?
You have too many eldrazi temples.
any suggestions what I should drop for it?
great idea! thanks!
So it should work as a teampaly deck in place of THG. Different format for team play but still works.
In my opinion, the issue with corrupt and doomblade is that it isn't good multiplayer removal. While it might be nice against the odd infect/poison deck , this deck generally survives most forms of damage in multiplayer from sheer amount of mana storage and damage. It uses Sorin's Vengeance since its mana efficient for its effect. The game would have to take a long time for corrupt to be useful and not all the multiplayer games we are in last long enough to get that many lands. It runs some mana speed due to that fact. Runs essence feed as an additional mana source after the initial hit. Nights whisper for much needed card draw. Enough mana and Exsanguinate and you pretty much wipe opponents in many forms of multiplayer. Circle of affliction helps stop some of the incoming damage in a pinch. There may be better methods that are useful in single and multiplayer.
In response to your description about the advice people give: I came to this site as a casual player looking for helpful advice. I've been to other sites as well. This one is the most active. But just about everywhere all I get for suggestions are the same things over and over without analyzing what I'm trying to accomplish and suggesting things to remove for the things to add. I've found like one helpful person and have been trying to help other people with their theme decks as thats my specialty. Is there anywhere where people can get decent advice online? I wish I had more to say other than to respond to your description. This deck is very good and its out of my league really. If I ever think of something to add to other decks you've made I'll do my best.
This deck is just wow. I always wanted to build a come hit me deck. Your guys put my measly efforts to shame.
this combines a lot of my favorite cards that I wasn't sure how to make a deck with. Mind if I use a similar build to this?
Been thinking. Maybe a good ol skeleton shard could work better. Its slower but it allows the chimera to be reused even after a board wipe.
Seal of removal has its uses. For one it doesn't sit in your hand. It causes your opponent to pay attention to it and not as much to other things. Its basically a threat. Each obvious threat takes a bit of your opponents attention, especially in more casual games. And if they don't realize your plan is to bounce your guys to use their effects again later its a great distraction. It is weak to enchantment removal, which is its only real downside. As far as cards that may be used I suggest things like Chamber of Manipulation and Chamber of Manipulation. while they require a discard they make cards not useful right then into creature steals that can then be stored.
Ah, right, I forgot about that. The average power of my walls is about 4 anyway. Though it could also be useful to find something in red to let me tap them for an effect on top of the fling.glyph and souls fire/glyph combo. I've been working on a goal of 40 interesting decks. 1 for each color, 2 color, and three color combination plus one each for different multiplayer formats and 5 misc decks that I just like too much. I have a ton of cards I'm never gonna use that I'm getting rid of and only keeping whats ending up in a deck. so figured make enough deck concepts that I can put a decent number of cards in and have goals on what I Want to build. This also includes updating some of my old favorites like this one. So thanks for the help. I want them to work decently before I Waste my money acquiring them over time so the input helps a lot.
