yes it does, except when the deck needs to be standard legal

BTW, I made a deck kinda like this on MTGO that was Green white with intangible virtue and it was really not that good, I think your monogreen idea is better
I love the idea, but I would make a few changes (just my preference).... Tree of redemption and wall of tanglecord are mathmaticly strong for sacrificing creatures to feed the pack. I don't know that overrun needs to be in here. having the major key to this deck have 6 mana cost means that you need to make sure you are dropping a land every turn for six turns... (yes you will have extra in there with your ramp, but that should be extra and not really what you are counting on)
Hunters insight DOES allow you to draw even if the combat damage is from a creature with infect... but for a totally different reason I have replaced it in my real life deck with artful dodge
I like the idea here but I think you need some recusion... fools demise and puppet master come to mind and could give you a perpetual counterspell. both those cards are a little mana intensive and so are your drakes so that would be the only issue I see. Looks fun
I shoulda thought of that!
ok just kidding, I agree that swords would be a good addition here, I only have two Swords of B&M and tonight I get together with my play group and I'll find a way to toss em in there for a trial (even if that means a 62 deck)
I'm sorry, I will have to delete your post for using the word "hella"
I like it, I would play this just as it is if I had any Elspeth and more than 2 Sorins. I would imagine that since everyone is now playing ratchet bombs main, with more in their sideboard, that becomes an issue. a friend of mine is playin a deck kinda like this (doomed travelers and Drogskol Captain being the biggest difference) and he runs 4 surgical extraction sideboard since ratchet bomb is mean to him (with or without glissa)
before I refined it this deck had Phantasmal Image, Geist honored monk and a single sun titan, I did get a couple real quick aggroish wins with Image and Captain, but after changing it up to highlight call to the kindred those cards didnt seem to fit anymore. I think I will heed your advice and sideboard some images to see how that plays.
TY, I like it. but as for your no ramp no reaver idea I dissagree... the intended method of Reaver dropping is with Call to the Kindred not by a hard cast. you are probably right that a Reaver is a dead draw most of the time but I hope to be unconcerned about that as he will be free before I draw him. I also see your point about think twice, and I might make a change there, but in my casual matches I've found think twice pretty helpful so far (against pretty limited competition so far)
I think somewhere in there we got distracted away from how awesome this deck is and how the creator of this deck is a Soooper Genius
I dissagree, I love ooze, maybe go down to two vorapede, and just three ooze and birds, so you can drop in 4 GSZ... I also love GSZ
oh, well you see I was just callin it tribal cause it seemed tribalish. I didn't even know there was a tribal format or tribal tournaments. but I will make a small change to the deck and to fit into the tribal definition. I agree with you rules are rules are rules and I will follow them.... I just didn't know there were any rules about a deck being called tribal :)
yes chaos is right, this deck is all about Call of the Kindred. That will almost always drop a free creature each turn and I would call it tribal because in addition to the 18 spirit creatures I have another 6 spells that produce spirits (4 of them twice) and all of them two spirits at once. so if ya look at it that way I'm running 38 spirits thats well over 20... but its a matter of perspective I suppose.
upon further evaluation twisted image doesn't really bleong, your right.
after playing this a few days on MTGO, I made some changes.... Titanic growth is considerably more important than mirran mettle, and rangers guile saves my butt ever single game
I think you are probably right and I will test it out a bit soon, but mind rot is there because it is card advantage and distress is not. on the other hand, distress gives me a better idea what to do with memoricide if I haven't been able to look thru his deck yet with surgical extraction. looks like I have some testing to do.
Axe is way off here IMO. Ooze is the best thing that happened to green in this set (or maybe Increasing Savagery, but it is close) yes he dies to BSZ and other -1/-1 effects but so does just about everything else in the set, the best part of him is he does not die to ; doom blade, DoJ, combat dmg, GFtT, Rebuke, geistflame, brimstone volley, Inferno Titan, burning oil, lifes finale, shock, galvanic blast, incinerate, Devils play, gut shot, arc trail, whipflare, beast within, marrowshards, prey upon, and did I mention combat damage?
thank you... guy on MTGO whooped me with it so I made my own
