Ignoring the fact that this deck is built with extended cards but does not utilize the extended options or the fact that the sideboard has too few cards and the main deck needs some trimming, you are playing black/red and missing one of the best black/red spells ever printed, Blightning

Do-able. You may want to cut 2 essence scatters for 2 cancels, 1 blue more but can be used for anything.
Hexmage over Aristocrat. Also, use 8 of the zend fetch lands (the 2 sets with black in them) to allow landfall for bloodghast and deck shuffling for nocturnus as well as deck thinning which will lead to less land draws. I would also look at a couple bloodwitches and replacing at least 2 of the feats for tomb hexes. Decent type2 deck though.
You could also look into cascading into Seismic Assault. So, 4-8 4cc cascades, your burn spell and assault with treasure hunts.
You never said naything about lack of cards. If you don't have cards to fix the problems with the deck, how can you honesly expect someone to be able to give you good critiques of the deck?
First, get down to 60 cards. Second, work on that mana base. You have a ton of come into play tapped lands. Use m10 duals and zend fetches to fix that. Third, you need more maelstrom pulses, most good type 2 decks run several of most cards. It doesn't look like it could even win an FNM, but then again, sometimes the odd looking deck does ok.
Illegal.dec 25 card sideboard. Also, would lose quickly in a vintage tournement, which is what you built it to.
If you're going for a casual mana ramp, you should cut the red shrine and run the green one. It's 2 free lands, meaning you can easily hit your mana needs turn 5 (considering what else you have). Since this is casual, canopy cover should be fine. May want another banefire and some spot removal, but for casual, it could work.
If you have Lotus/Peral, that means this is a vintage format deck. And for a vintage deck, it's terrible. If you want to build to type 2 from where you are, it wouldn't be hard.
You need 20 more cards to actually have a deck.
I would if I wasn't loaning out a playset already. I have a small group of guys who we all play and loan cards, so since I was just driving down to see my family one weekend, I'm bringing my 1 spare sculptor. I draft way too much.
11 counterspells maindeck and another 4 sideboarded for a total of 15 depending on who you are playing isn't enough? Especially with 8 cards that increase your draws? We will have to agree to disagree here then, because, unless we return to the type 2 days of forbiddion, I doubt Wizards will ever print enough decent counters to make that do-able.
Sideboard the deathmarks. Run 8 sac lands instead of 1, you'll appreciate them with bloodghast and the Noc's. free deck shuffling and thining. 15 swamps/8 zend sac lands or so. Maindeck hexmage, worst case, it's a 2/1 first strike for 2, best case, it kills planeswalkers. Maindeck more disfigures. All I got to advise to you.
I'm loaning my playsets of path's to a friend. You win by decking, it's how turbo fog works. Hence the 4 archive traps and all the cards draw, you fog them out/ mass remove their stuff, counter non creature stuff, and then make them draw out. If they search, archive trap is a free mill, worst case, mid game, you can eot cast it on them.
type 2, he can't
Banefire would do much better than fireball
Good mana curve, with your entire deck under 4. That said, you could lower your total mana base. You could easily cut 2 of each. You're sitting on 12 red sources of mana and no red sell requiring more than 1 source. You also have 16 black sources of mana. In short, lower the mana base by about 4, add in a late game finisher (ex: banefire).
