Um... Maybe. But I don't know if it really needs more fodder, since I can infinitely swap artifacts from graveyard to battlefield. :)

Well, of you can find some cheap creatures with high soulshift... Which there are a few, then it is pretty good.

Lol... I guess so. casual decks mostly, since creativity is kind of squished into oblivion in most tourney formats.

I know right? should be wholly a defender based card. that would rock. and if you put her with intruder alarm it becomes an infinite combo. :)

Lol... my decks have some unique niches. not particularly powerful in any format other than casual... but they work in interesting ways.

thanks for the compliment. although in all honesty I can't claim everything in this deck was my idea. I can say that the base for it was mine, but the comments and suggestions that people gave here really made this deck awesome.

I hope that it gives other people ideas about how to make a similar deck. the comment section here is really a goldmine for good feedback on defender concepts.

and yeah, flamewright is pretty sweet. but sadly... I am pretty strict on what creatures are in here or not. and my requirements are that the creatures MUST have defender. so if Flamewright had defender then she would go in here.

but I wholly recommend her for ANY defender based deck. :)

Um... Almost all of the Mox cards cost 0 mana to cast, so yeah, it is free mana.

However, mox opal needs metalcraft to work... So you need at least 2 other artifacts to use it, and since it is legendary you can't throw out three of them.

True. It also allows for people who don't have the time or resources to build for other formats to still play and have fun. And technically casual had no banned or restricted cards, so they can fully abuse power 9 cards and other nonsense, making some of them WAY more powerful than a legacy or vintage deck.

The of course you have house rules, but those are usually pretty lenient. :)

However, as a tourney format, no it should not be allowed.

Yeah... I REALLY want to do a non budget version of this deck. But I can't seem to get it right and so I ashtrays end up deleting the deck and starting over.

I like lightmine field and lust for war. :) both fun cards.

And vent sentinel as the win condition. :). Pretty cool.

Indeed surgical extraction is great. But it would blow the $25 budget.

I am also trying to mashed a non budget version of this deck. So I can out some better cards in here... Like surgical extraction. :)
