Just a fyi, he got to first place in tournament with this deck. He has SB against mono red decks or any rush deck. It was surprising.

I like this deck but one thing that I feel that is missing from this is perhaps some kind of life gaining ability. Perhaps consider crypt incursion? Especially if you use Jace, memory adept. He kicks ass for that. Also, in your SB, you have Disperse but I would consider Voyage's End, as it lets you scry.

Looks really good but not sure how I feel about Duress, I think that Thoughtseize would do better as it's more powerful. Naturally, you'll lose some life at it but with Havoc Festival, who cares.

I also would reduce it and increase the number of Read the Bones as well or put in a whip since you're creature heavy.

Thanks for the feedback.

I've actually been considering changing it up as I realized that just one of these cards that screws up the game will screw it up completely. I may need to include more creatures and reduce the burn to increase my chance of surviving. :)

Well, I do have to admit that I'm having a little trouble understanding that specific card's ability because if I copy Medomai's effect or even Aurelia's effect, it wouldn't work because of the naming issue that's in the text. The only thing I could see it working for is Ral Zarek's abilities.

Perhaps you can tell me how I can make it work with other cards?

Well, I thought about that but the point of these little creatures is to sac them. I don't give a hoot about them because of Showstopper. I want to be able to kill their creatures as mine dies. It's another delaying tactic to buy time to get my game-changers stuff out to make the game MUCH MORE interesting. *evil grin*

Yeah, I'm reconsidering Medomai but more importantly, maybe warleader because I realized that I tend to kill the opponent before I could even get my free turns. I'm also considering removing Ral and put what you suggested, like Elspeth as she works very nicely with the fire god or even Jace as you suggested as well to lower their damage.

Gotta experiment.

That's a pretty bad suggestion... Golgari Charms is too useful for this type of deck and gift will help to keep some of the creatures alive, especially with Voice of Resurgence., constantly creating tokens.

Advent cost too much and while it's nice, not really fit for this strategy.

Just FYI, I play with this type of deck and I LOVE IT. I would only suggest to add in Simic Charms to replace stymied hope because it's not great for late game and in early game, it's tough to use it. I found that it was a issue for me.

I did try with Vorel and it doesn't seem to agree because it's difficult to double it. I would take it out and put in a Mystic maybe or another plasma capture. This is what allowed me to get the defender out sooner.

Just my two cent. :)

Yeah Voice of Resurgence is insane in cost (real money). My opinion, maybe 2 Gift of Immortality for Voice of Resurgences, just keep making babies that way. You can also use it to save your other big creatures to help you.

I'll probably take out Thoughtseize. It's nice but you're not about control as much as in attacking and regen'ing them in Board Sweeper style. By keeping your creatures alive, you have a better chance carrying on your attacks.

Call of the Clans are awesome, it's a instant and can be play at any time. I would swamp it out for skylashers. If you want a flash creature with defense, you should have Boon Satyr, cost 3 and you can even bestow it if not use it as a flash so you have a couple of options.

Yeah, I would add the bow.

I also don't like legion loyalist or skylasher.

I would replace it with more mana ramp, such as the Sylvan Defender (generates mana) and maybe put in Ghuur-Zal Druids.

It would boost your Mistcutter Hydra.

Yeah I would LOVE to have Temporal Mastery back but as St4rScr34m said it's out. :(

Well, I think both. Burn (especially with fire god) and aggro mono red would probably get me. I could sideboard more detention sphere's. Oblivion Rings is no longer standard and more of the charm.

I don't know, I'm trying to test this deck against all sorts of deck types. I feel that mono red deck types will beat this. Need to find someone that has one like it and test it.

If it does well against most decks, I can see it going up but need to get it in the tournaments.

Yeah, that's the idea behind Boros Charm. It also helps to survive Supreme Verdicts if necessary. I like the flexibility of the charm.

I managed to get four turns from Medomai with Boros Charm and Aurelia, the Warleader. But it usually kills the player when I get to that point as the damage is 28 by Medomai and Aurelia alone. haha
