Needs protection from counterspells. Duress or counters.

Stitch together is bad, reanimate or animate dead or dance of the dead are much more consistent.

Divining Witch + lab maniac seem out of place. There no protection for maniac. What if he is destroyed or bounced before you try to draw out?

I was thinking that a turn 3 bonfire or miracle bonfire on 2 or 3 would be being me 5+ damage against token decks. I'm working under the assumption that those would be my weakest match up. Do you think I an wrong there?

I was a bit weary of the Boros elite bit I was thinking it was stronger than reckless waif.

I'm not a fan of the unholy strengths and I am not sure why you have the Cairns but I otherwise like it.

I'd love to but this is more to play with friends. As such there is a $200 price tag restriction on it and I'm already too close before considering the sideboard.

I was using call of the conclave and more invocations instead of the eyes in the sky but I switched them when I added the groves. I doubt they'd be as much use if I cut those two.

-4 fireballs - the only time this is ever worth playing is against illusions and anyother targeted spell works just as well.

+4 Duress. Makes Thought Hemorrhage 100x better.

-2 swamp

+4 chain lightning (Since it is expensive, any burn can work instead)

Don't worry about mindslavers. That is what Duress and/or Shatter are for. And, bytime an opponent gets Mindslaver off, you will be topdecking anyway.
For your creatures, make sure that there is either reason for them to be targetted (Fanatic or Hellspark for example) or they need to do something as soon as they hit play (Singe Mind)

I have a deck similar. I have to keep its value below $200 for the guys I play with but it is allowed to be vintage legal. all in all though it is pretty close to what you are going for and pretty solid.

firstly, splashing blue makes reanimate a ton better.
But, for mono black you need disruption to ensure this goes off.
+4 hymn to tourach
+4 duress
you don't need that many entomb targets.
I'd consider bumping Jin-Gitaxias up to a 2 of though.

for blue run underground sea and fetches and run daze and force of will for counters.
and run careful study and brainstorm.

Either way, I'd cut animate dead down to 2.

A huge strength of this deck is that it can go of on turn one or two even if you mulligan down to 4 cards so you don't need as many reanimation spells. just mulligan if you don't have one.

you need more blue sources than 4 I'd swap at least 4 Plains out for Islands. OR you could cut Venser and change Steady Progress to Throne of Geth
