I would recommend dropping a color from the list and making your lands better.

I think you gain the least from blue (I hate to say that, but you are mostly an on-curve planeswalker deck not one that can make good use of counters).

As a Control player in modern believe me when I tell you:

+3 Cryptic Command

See the thing about casting miracles from the hand is this: they are WAYYY overpriced from the hand and WAAAYYY underpriced from the miracle effect. If you're not casting them for their miracle price, you're almost just better off with discarding them and hoping for something better.

How does counterbalance work in the deck? Is it worth it? I kind of think it's a bit of a trap in Modern, until they print better cantrips (which they won't for a while).

I'd probably just run a few more miracles and ways of ditching/drawing them.

The best thing about a deck like this is that I simply run more stuff than they can remove! Plus Momentous Fall can be used in response to removal.

Yeah, it's mainly the goyfs and lilys though so if either of those get reprinted again.

It really depends on draws and your opponent's deck. This deck can win T1 (or T2 their draw step) by resolving 4 archive traps.

I remember playing against 8rack at a local modern event with American control. I was living the dream, casting fused wear//tears to blow up their board. It was gross.
