I have a deck that's pretty similar. Uses red/white instead, so you can Red Sun/Devil's Play to insta-kill players, or White Sun to get infinite cats. Myr Turbine + early Myrsmiths means you can tutor for your Galvanisers and Palladiums early on.

Tezzeret's Gambit over Steady Progress, always.
...i already told you about how 42 lands is terrible :P
Shape Anew is just a modern equivilent of Tinker....Totally didn't just notice that :S
Seems to me that your mana acceleration is too slow for what you're trying to do. I'd look into a lot of the Zendikar cards, heaps of mana acceleration like Doubling Cube, fetchlands, etc. Four Llanowar Elves just isn't gonna cut it in here i think.
Might i suggest a doubling Doubling Cube or two?
Doubling Cube. That is all.
The point behind the chalice in here is its cost of 0 (lets the trinket mage bring it out). Then use Shape Anew on it to bring out the Blightsteel. I think using the splicers as my method of getting Blightsteel out will take too long, although they do buff him once he's out... As for the Inkmoth Nexus...i'm not sure how i can guarantee getting it swiftish like the chalice...
I don't see the point of the Grid Monitor tbh. I don't get why it's there..
Seems solid, but a little slow. Also Joraga Warcaller is a MUST for every elf deck Take a look at mine, also Standard =) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=213168
Taken on board, thanks for that. I'm mainly using the fetchlands to thin out the deck during play so i get a greater chance of getting the Trinket Mage/Shape Anew combo out.
Hmm, interesting. You could use Shape Anew on the cheapo golem tokens (they count as artifacts) to get the bigger golems like the Blightsteel or Emperion out.
Oh, i see what Shape Anew does now. And that is freaking insane. Still, mana acceleration will help get it out faster, turn 2 or 3 possibly. I'm so making a deck about that now...
I'd go for four chalices, with a ton of proliferate spells, and a few Treasure Mages to find the Blightsteel.
Seems to me like it takes you too long to get the blightsteel out if it's your win condition. You need some serious mana acceleration, which you lack in this deck. Green tends to be best for that, check my elf deck: ignore the win conditions in it, but look at the mana acceleration (i can get 6 mana by turn 3 without that chalice anywhere in site)
Cut it down to 60 cards, and sideboarded the Hydras so it's purely Elf =)
Anything with Landfall would stomp in this deck. Throw in that Baloth with the +4/+4 Landfall ability
I'm a bit of a noob to this, but is this standard legal? Because some of those cards are quite old... Suggestion that would work amazingly with this would be Joraga Warcaller. Sit it back, and buff it with Vigor, then watch as every elf you have out gets bigger. Have a look at my elf deck please? Mine focuses less on the distraction method with the Taunting Elf and more on buffing them all up and givingthem trample or summoning huge things. A rating and suggestions would help :3 http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=213168
Your elves don't seem to be working effectively as a tribe, they aren't helping each other that much. Take a look at mine to see how they can work; http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=213168 Llanowar elves are practically essential to any elf deck, and you have none of them D:
...why no metalcraft though?
