Check my UB zombie deck, got first place with something similar to this... edited some cards based on my continuous tests. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=299924 I would suggest Phyrexian obliterator to your deck btw. Cya!

Nice one. For a T2 format, check mine http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=299924 peace!
I would prefer this zombie deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=299924 but its UB
solar flare gave me some problems, but then combo triggered and got the last victory.
I know your feeling... but this one made some easy wins vs mageblade, tokens and wolframp with huntmaster. all I had to do was work with my sideboard. 4 bombs also nuked any BW token attempt. but thanks for your support anyway.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=299924 updated version of this deck you liked.
Test with Havengul lich. It works like a charm with Snapcaster
This one is what I used. Few updates since my PTQ version http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=298797 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmmmm Try this one http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=298797 its not combo based, but if you land a gravecrawler + grimgrin + diregraf captain + rooftop storm = infinite dmg triggers and an infinite/infinite creature. also Im using lich just in case they nuke grimgrin or diregraf from tabble. and if combo dont show up... no problem, I still can win with creatures no problem. Well, dif deck, dif strategy, but still worth to take a look. Grats on your deck also.
Added Call to the grave to side and Rooftop Storm to main Rooftop can combo/win very nicely with Grimgrin + gravecrawler + Diregraf Captain
its just an alternate version of http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=298797 I still prefer the other one, since the diregraf captain can trigger the damage on your opponent just like burning vengeance (after you sacrifice gravecrawler with grimgrin) and it still gives some nice bonuses for other zombies.
Nice settup take a look at mine http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=298797 I might add 1 copy of call to the grave... really liked it
for your version, I would go something like this one: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=299906
I think you should use mine. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=298797 grimgrin + (gravecrawler or lich) + secrets of the dead = free super mega draw.
Im thinking about adding burning vengeance on the deck... splashing with 4 dragonskull summit but... not sure what to remove in order to include 4 of em. 2 copy of burning + 1 copy of secrets of the dead and a gravecrawler, would be like = 2 damage + 1 card per swamp (1 trigger of burning you do dmg your gravecrawler after you summon, and the other you deal dmg to opponent, draw a card, and summon again). Also, with grimgrin, you can just sumon, draw, sacrifice, summon, draw, sacrifice... for each swamp
Hmmm... this is a more aggresive version of a deck that I posted a few days ago. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=298462 would love some report about your tests. I also have this other Zombie deck with same idea, but the agressivity is focused on my own zombies. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=298797
I would take of undying evil and add whipflare... that way you wont get killed by tokens bfore you ever land a lich with mana 2 counter the removal. I also like the way I used lich with Secrets of the Dead http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=298797
and some ratchet bombs = nice to remove honor of the pure and intangible virtue.
Phyrexian Obliterator would be a nice call for your mono black. but I still prefer my mixed with water zombies http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=298797 but... if I would ever ran mono black... I would defnly put phyrexian obliterator. ;)
I understand your point, but I dont think curse of exhaustion would be a better improvement on this deck. Dont know if you tested, but what usually happens to me is this: I control hard early game, and at 5th turn, my hit points is about 10-12. In that ocasion, I MUST kill my opponent in like 2-3 more turns. So usually once misfortunes is in play, first turn I get curse of thirst, then blootletting. Since I usually already have a copy of piercing heart in play, thats like 17 hp (3 damage previous ticks of piercing heart + 4 damage when thirst enters the game + 10 damage when bloodletting enters the game. That wouldnt kill, but those 3 turns Im with mana free, so I usually just drop another curse from my hand and increase the overall damage. If I would put another curse, it would be that red one that forces the opponent to attack every turn (if I put more bitterheart witches), Since its a 3 mana coast curse, that would help to increase the late game damage when thirst enters the game. Well, everything Im saying is based on my results testing. Im also thinking about running with a few more Thirst on this deck. thanks for your comment.
