The fencing ace is there for my manna curve mostly, But I see what you are saying. Student is an awesome one drop to put pressure on early and I have one just sitting around. I will drop the aces for the paladins though. Same casting cost, and the paladins would be awesome with doublestrike. As for more heroes, it will be hard to get just the two, let alone four.

Thanks. I love hexproof. It makes targeted removal completely worthless along with a great number of combat tricks.
Purphuros is my style. I love doing direct damage by having creatures come into play, and as for lore, he is pretty darn awesome.
No, I need something cheap (mana wise) that phases out or flickers as an activated ability. With the Raiders, I would have to wrath on their schedule, not mine.
Yes, the wipe would effect me too, but even having just a couple of illusionists returning to a completely wiped board, let alone the big creatures, would be a huge advantage. If I have to use the Worldslayer, it would be if my enemy has something on their side of the board that is a REAL problem, Niv-Mizzet Firemind with the potential for the Curiousity infinate combo for example. This deck is based around creatures surviving a wipe, though maybe the Lantern Spirits are a mistake as I could not recast them after the Worldslayer goes off. Any suggestions on what to replace them with? Something relatively cheap that phases out or flickers as an activated ability would be preferred.
You're right. I see I forgot to add the Bogbrew Witch anyway.
Yeah, maybe replace Presence of Gond with them
Thanks, I'll consider it. The Aether Vials however would be hard to come by.
Nice synergy, and you can't complain about the cost of putting this one together.
Okay, though my favorite return to hand card is Disperse because it can target any non-land permanent, not just creatures.
I considered Wanderwine, but he is too slow. The problem with Lulmage is this is meant to be an aggressive deck and I think tapping down all my creatures to counter enemy spells would work counter to that. Thanks for the suggestions though.
That is a fear of mine too. I will have to see how the deck runs when I actually build it and go from there
The Thing with World Slayer is it wipes out EVERYTHING, leaving your opponent effectively helpless and still facing down whatever you saved from the wipe. It is essentially a kill card.
I like the ogre slumlord in this. With Eldrazi Monument, it means you never run dry of creatures and all but the ogre himself have deathtouch. Marrow-Gnawer is also an awesome way to go in for the kill.
That is strange. I would expect at least one to be a must.
Thanks, you are quite right.
I see what you mean. I don't really need flying or unblockable with so much islandwalk.
I just have the manta Riders to have a one drop, but with all this islandwalk, I see your point. I could get better than the mentor too. My group plays a LOT of legendary stuff, so I still see a use for Galina. Thada can go though.
Thanks. I will try a couple of those
I am not sure if I need it with the Aquitects, but thanks for the suggestion.
