That's exactly the point! What EDH deck are you playing? I don't know, what EDH deck are you playing?

Indeed, Harbringer also finds it when you need it.
It's just a different way of looking at recursion, you do it primarily with Kiki-Jiki, while I use graveyard return.
since you do have so many artifacts, it might not be bad to do affinity/metalcraft.
A. Amulet of Vigor is your best friend.B. If you're playing four (4) Maze's End, there's no reason to play two of each guild gate. If you still want to definitely put in Amulet of Vigor or else it's going to be slow to play.C - Z. Walking Atlas may be something you want to look into, as well as other land searching/playing cards (IE: Expedition Map, Reap and Sow, Sylvan Scrying). Gatecreeper Vine searches specifically for gates. Primaeval Titan searches for two lands when it comes into play or attacks. Realms Uncharted if you can follow it up with a Crucible of Worlds. Scapeshift would be very good for you. Weathered Wayfarer is a bit off beat from the rest of these vis a vis colour; however, it's still nice.(side note: Trinket mage is another good card to tutor for Expedition map/Amulet of Vigor.)PS. These are all Modern choices, technically it's playable in the modern format. I'm sure there's others if you look back further.
Prophetic Bolt isn't legal in modern. It hasn't been reprinted in a block since Invasion. Other than that looks fairly fun.
Well, thought that's true there's makeshift things here. Master Biomaster allows you with the +1+1. Call to the Kindred provides Lord effects, along with Cavern of Souls. Looking at "lord" in the database, there's not too many advantages that I won't have here: "Elvish Champion", "Goblin King", "Kobold Overlord", "Lord of Atlantis", "Lord of the Undead", "lovisa Coldeyes", "Zombie Master" - seems to me I'm missing the landwalk ability; everything else is provided in one form or the other. I suppose I could add unblockable in one form or the other.
Patriarch's Bidding: Return specific creature type! Rats... Always Rats.I'm still a little lost on how to mill myself; however, (!) in looking I have found some cool effects! I believe Altar of Dementia would be a good replacement for Spawning Pit. Here's why: So! Mill, mill, mill; Patriarch's Bidding (Rats!); Altar of Dementia; Bitter Ordeal check if there's better than 100 power in the creatures, plus the amount of creatures on the battlefield. Adding Urborg Justice would also increase the probability of milling them out. Just need mill now.
TOA, I've been thinking, and what about a mill ability that puts things into my graveyard and then living death?
I've looked at that idea, to decks like that: http://tinyurl.com/SkeeverStorm The only issue I have is that they're boring! it's a four turn combo and you're just left hoping that in these massive decks there's no way to exile an artifact. Thank you though, maybe adding different removal may be better.
Came across Gerrard's Verdict since you are already using white.
Generic one cost discard: Blackmail, Despise, Duress, Horrifying Revelation (mill 1), Mire's Toll, Ostracize, Tendrils of Despair (discard two), Thoughtsieze. With recursion: Cry of Contrition, Pulse of the Dross (3 cmc), Raven's Crime, Skull Fracture.Mind Twist/Shatter: Discard XMindstab: It's worth looking at and deciding for yourself, it's a bit long depending on what you want to do.Mindburst: It's one of my favorite mechanics, the more times you play this card, the better it gets.Unmask: Another one of my favorite mechanics, FOW play with discard... granted it's not the best example, worth looking at.Others worth looking at: Smallpox, Strongarm Tactics, Pulling Teeth. If you're planning on keeping mono-black Sink into Takenuma might be worth looking into.
Tap, destroy. Tap, Destroy! TAP! DESTROY!!!!!!!! I love it! I tried something like this, worked fairly well, but I could never get all the cards I wanted. Here's some stuff to look at:King's Assassin: A second Royal Assassin (as if you need more!)Tap Creatures: Angelic Benediction: Attack! Tap target creature. Niblis of the Urn: Attack! Tap singular. Stalking Assassin: (AKA; my introduction for splashing blue) If cheaper, it'd be great! Atleast look at the card. Vectis Dominator: Tap ultimatum. Ballynock Trapper: Tap for tap, untap with white spells. Court Street Denizen: White creatures ETB = Tap. Yosei, The Morning Star: 'Cause every deck needs a legendary creature.Blinding Light: (sorcery) Tap all non-white creatures. Blind Obedience: (Enchantment) Opponent's creatures enter tapped! Probably the best enchantment for its cost. Crackdown: (Enchantment) If it's non-white, non-wimpy, it doesn't untap. Marble Titan is the creature version, except it'll stun wimpy things too! Kismet: (Enchantment) If your opponent controls it, it comes into play tapped, a more expensive Blind Obedience. Loxodon Gatekeeper is the creature version! One Cost Tap: Ivory Charm: Tap one and other things at instant speed! Midnight Charm: Tap and other things! Back in black. Niveous Wisps: Tap + Draw!Other Tap: Word of Binding: Tap X creatures. Feeling of Dread: (Instant) Tap two + Blue Flashback. Malicious Advice: If you need another reason to splash Blue.Rathi Trapper: Unique in that it's black, generic for everything else.Generic white taps: Benalish Trapper, Blinding Mage, Goldmedow Harrier, Master Decoy, Nomad Decoy (Threshold), Squall Drifter (flying), Sunstrike Legionnaire, Wipcorder.
Since Aegis of Honor is specific to instants and sorcery spells, I'd suggest Leyline, it's more expensive which means that it can't come out quite as early if you need to hardcast, but it's also something you won't need to worry about after you play it, in the long run against decks with instants, enchantments, sorcery and such, it'll be much cheaper. At times it may be worth it to mull till you have it out first turn, burn decks will have a hard time after that.
If you're not going for multiplayer Orim's Chant might turn out better for you than Silence. Also the other obvious stoppers are Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Windborn muse. (These are cards in your colours, with a converted mana cost of three or less.)Also Glacial Chasm might not be so great for you unless you have a way to blink it out, it's anti-synergistic with Paradox Haze, nor does it have any gratifying long term effects for Azor's Elocutors since it is still a source of damage. Basically it's a one turn stall with the cost of wasting a land slot. Solitary Confinement in my own opinion would be a better card. Maze of Ith would restrain one creature.
