adding to what natester said about late removal from black sun and massacre wurm maybe sb some corrupted resolves? i mean by that time they should be infected and have poison counters and it's a 1 colorless 1 blue counterspell at that point just my thought

i have built this deck and i like it played it online and irl vs a strong mono black deck that i play against at my regular fnm's and i stomped it np the only problem i had was if i draw 7 and come up short of or with no creatures and don't mull then you'll lose so having creatures to start out with is very important i do agree maybe some more main creatures would protect this a little bit more or go witht he idea of green sun's zenith over something else in it great deck keep them coming!

thanks for the comments yeah i agree with you unless i add some black spells it's useless to have swamps and i'll play test some more with another wurm coil and blightsteel thanks!

i suggest adding huge cards like tome scour mindcrank and jace's erasure all great mill cards that would work well and make this faster mill and yeah lose 4 preordains k.i.u.

deck hasn't been terrible but it has had it's flaws and is not going how you would want it to

either not getting the combo cards in hand and or no land or not enough burn to start off which is making it slow

and the other issue is although the probes and gambit's are good the taking life tends to be an issue and your life count can go down pretty fasted

have tested this against a architect dredgevine deck which has blown this out of the water

thanks for the suggestions im gonna try removing the pyromancers for furnace scamps and two gambit's for a total of 24 land and play test it some more

hope i can get this ready for friday would like to run it =)

really suprised not to see blade splicer in the deck it's a very strong card for 3 mana and gives your golems first strike which alot of players happen to overlook when attacking i would suggest trying to fit this in somewhere k.i.u.

Thanks for the comments i was making this deck and tweaking it late last night for my girl to play in fnm tonight i have just made adjustments and have added more infect to it should balance out and kill alot quicker now

i feel that you have no way to deal with anything you should really be worried about like swords batter skull big artifact creatures golems and myr's i think viridian corrupter and or acidic slime are pretty vital in an infect deck as some insurance if your not able to get a quick kill off and can deal with slowing a caw blade tezz or some other powerful deck down majority of decks now with the release of nph will be built around artifacts .

well i have mutagenic growth side board which in my opinion can be better than giant growth because if you don't have the green for the pump you can just pay 2 life instead but thanks for the comment and i will check out your decks!

great mana curve lot's of small creatures that can get big and scary quick red weenie beat down is win i am a litte sad to not see lightning bolts or arc trails or anything else that gives fast damage as protection to keep your creatures in check but i could still see this working k.i.up!

i'd drop to 2 Melira and side board the 3rd although i think 2 is all you really need you have swords and batter skull whispersilk seems like a wasted spot and should be removed i mean with stone forges in the deck you won't have a problem getting the swords out also only run 2 main phyrexian unlife again 3 is pointless side board the other if you must but i think 3 is fine i'd also drop the phyrexian hydras by the time your at 5 mana you should already be doing enough damage with hawks mystics and swords in play put them sb if you are having trouble with bigger creatures from your opponent you have them still
